I followed the instructions exactly, made an account, password, downloaded the game, but when i came to the spot where they ask " please enter the serial code provided to you" I realized I had no code, and I don't remember any page i passed that had a code key on it, and no e-mail with the code either, what did I do wrong ??

Neiuo, IIRC, my three day code came from one of the pages here (mmorpg.com), before I got to NC's site.
Maybe make a different account here and go from the start again. But this time you'll already have all the TR bits and pieces downloaded.
