Hey veterans, what games you guys play these days?
I played battlefield2141 some time ago, it was really nice and addictive, but as soon as I got all player upgrades it became a little boring..
I still play now and then counter-strike 1.6 sometimes...
did anyone check out teamfortress2 yet ? I heard its really fun, maybe I might like it

I play Witcher at the moment and also planning to play KotOR1&2 once more from start to finish after team-gizka gets the KotOR2 restoration project done.
Mostly WoW and Eve with some America's Army every now and then.
City of Heroes/Villains passes the time for me.
Sadly I dont play any MMO's ATM. I am waiting for Fallen Earth maybe give WAR or AOC a try next year.
Im playing wow right now, but starting to get bored at all the raid / pvp that you are forced to do

Mass Effect... for heavens sake you must play this game.
EVE.. It's the only SWG replacement there is.
No MMO's at this time. Just playing Morrowind, and some Star Wars Empire at War for now. I'll wait to see what comes out, and if it interests me enough to play it.
I play Eve Online. Once avatars are implemented next year in the summer 2008 I hope to see more SWG refugees.
Just singleplayer games at the moment... there isn't any good MMORPGs out yet. Well WoW is pretty good but you get bored after 1+ years.

Second Life - Frankly I am getting bored with it, will probably cancel soon, Seems more like a cyber sex site than a game
I tried out EQ2, VG:SOH, LOTR, DDO and WOW. None of em did it for me.
im playing 2 free mmo's but am waiting on stargate or conan,
Waiting for Fallen Earth, new sandbox game, good crafting, no elves...
Playing City of Heroes and City of Villains atm, actually it'll be 2 years in February ^_^. I like the character customization and the team combat dynamics a lot. I'm also really enjoying the PvP, especially in the high end zone where you battle for control of bases and their armaments.
If you just do missions from regular contacts, the game has fun combat, but can get repetitive. I find it spices things up to get into the economy side of the game. It's well done imo. Also, police scanner missions and the two new zones (ouroboros and the Rikti Warzone) have added some welcome variety and end game content.
The winter event is on atm. Down hill skiing and finding presents all over the place. When you open them you get treats if you're on Santa's nice list, a mob of angry snowmen if you've been naughty. If you're on a large team, the naughties spawn a giant snow monster lol wee.
I have 2 main characters. One is like martial arts with a Katana and a self-healer. Reminds me of my TKM Master Doc from old school SWG, feels good. The other is a team healer/buffer/debuffer, and ranged combat mix.
I have a few villains if I want a change of pace, but spend most of my time on the hero side.
Playing Mass efffect on my xbox. Addictive! On my second play through now doing all the side quests.
I played some Hellgate, but sadly it was not for me.
The next mmo(rpg?) Iam waiting for is the Warhammer 40k one. But its not even on the horizon yet so... Im gonna continue my casual play on the xbox for now. Have Halo 3 and Assassins Creed coming up next.

TF2 is great fun but there are only 6 stock maps so it does get old kinda quick and MOST of the custom maps suck IMHO. Right now I play CS and TF2. I can't find an mmo that makes me want to pay the monthly fee. However my 360 is getting more action because of that but it froze last night with the checkerboard pattern.... from what I read 3RLoD will be soon to follow.
Mass Effect and Call of Duty 4 have become my main Xbox 360 titles. Tho I am taking a break from Call of Duty 4 for a bit.
My father got me a Sony PSP Slim for xmas that I just got in the mail a few days ago, yes it's the one with Vader and Battlefront. I have to say I like it, and good timing for a new handheld as I gave my girlfriend my old GBA so she could play Zelda and Final Fantasy (She loves both those games.) Kinda funny that this new Battlefront is MUCH better then Battlefront 2... I hope we see a Battlefront 3 like this next year on the 360, I feel it would work out great with Xbox Live.
As for MMO's I'm going to give Chapter 8 a fair chance when it comes out, Really the only thing keeping me away from SWG right now is, my main server Kauri is dead as dead can be. I have tried both WoW and Lord of the Rings, and as much as I hate to say it WoW is fun. It's also nice that WoW, LoTR and some of the other MMO's I've tried don't crash every other hour like SWG does... Lord knows SWG needs a new client engine, it looks one step above Everquest, and well EQ2 and WoW look a bit better...
And really unless SWG really starts to get better next year (doing something about the dead servers would be a big help and a good start.) I'll most likely end up on Age of Conan, my girlfriend and real life friends are wanting to check it out cuz it's more 'adult' and putting it on the Xbox 360 isn't a bad idea as well.

Back to EQ2 but keeping an eye on a few titles such as TCoS and Hero's Journey.
WoW since my friends play it; for a leveling game it's not bad tho the crafting sucks.
I won't try any other games unless they're sandbox based with a player-based economy.
May have to check out that Fallen Earth.
Was looking forward to seeing what the Zuroth Online boys could do but since they announced they're abandoning the sandbox and going to a level based system I've lost interest...

Playing Mass Effect right now. It is surprisingly a lot like KOTOR. You should give it a shot if you own a 360.
I am also playing Vanguard for the holiday special promotion they have going. After that, I will probably just be waiting until WAR or AoC is released.
