Is there really no trail offered for this game?!! In all honesty, I have little faith in a game developed by people that do not think they can bag me in 7 days, or so, online. After reading through the website I was excited about the choices offered in character creation. the whole game looks good so If there is something about a trail offer I am missing please let me know.

Some people have 10 days buddy keys. You can ask someone to give you one.
I, personally, don't have because I bought my key at SOE store.
If anyone wants i have a buddy key thats never been used just pm me.
Apparently there is a trial island in the works, it's just not complete yet. I have a key from when I picked up my copy (its $20 cheaper at the store) but I already promised it to someone else /=.
Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

Uhmmm, did I miss something? I reread my post and discovered I did, infact, write it in English. So to insinuate I have allready made up my mind is a rude assumtion on your part. This lack of couth is further amplified by the fact that you know nothing about me beyond a single posting on this forum. I am attracted to Vanguards large amount of choices this game has to offer but am unwilling to purchase it without trying it first. I have done this with every game I have EVER played.
So please, do not insult me futher by calling into question my sincerity. I will, infact give this game a serious opportunity to win my hard earned dollars.

If I had a trial key, would I give some one of little faith the trial key? I would not, but perhaps that is my personal defect in judgment.
The trial island is not implemented because it is incomplete; it is not because SOE is "afraid" people will join and dislike Vanguard. As a matter of fact, SOE in the holiday spirit gave previous subers one free month and experience bonus.

They will be implementing a trial. It will not be till next year though and probably not for 3-6 months if I was to guess.
