    Step 1) Go to this link http://www.tbadventure.com/onlinechat.php it's the only way I know how to get to the irc.forthegamers.org if you have a different link to the irc then use that but you have to be connected to irc.forthegamers.org!!
    Step 2) Press Connect.
    Step 3) If you follow my link you will be connected to tbadventures.com chat, to get to the mythos chat place type this: /join #mythos
    Step 4) Once you are connected to #mythos to get your Invite Private Message (double click there name in the right hand column) G-15 or Sulfuric.
    Step 5) Tell them that you would like an Invite to Mythos please, and then tell them your email address.
    Step 6) It might take a few minutes but eventully they will reply with a "there you go", say thank you!
    Step 7) Check your Email, follow the steps to active your account.
    Step 8) Download Mythos; and enjoy!

    Well I followed all the steps, spoke with G-15 and got a beta invite as well. Just wanted to post to thankyou for the mini-guide as it seemed to have helped me.

    Hey guys, I got my invite by going to www.mythos.com clicking the little asterisk (*) next to the "Apply for beta here" on the right side.  Filled out my e-mail and checked the box, got the invite ~8 hours later.

    My friend tried typing his e-mail into the box on the main page and has not yet gotten an invite, so I think the trick is to click the little blue asterisk, and enter your e-mail through there.  Good luck and see you in game.

    If you are having trouble getting the IRC to work and are using a web browser thats not Internet Explorer, try again on IE, worked for me!

    Well, for me using either Firefox or IE doesn't work keep getting the same error.

    Well, for me using either Firefox or IE doesn't work keep getting the same error.

    Try my suggestion a few posts up, and be patient, it can sometimes take up to a few days.

    If connecting through the link the OP gave doesn't work, try through a standalone irc client like xchat , it worked for me

    Tried to get onto the IRC with IE and Firefox and with mIRC...dont know whats up with it.

    Ive tried to get to the invite, but i get this message on Firefox and internet explorer,

    [22:37] Unable to connect : java.security.AccessControlException : access denied (java.net.SocketPermission irc.forthegamers.org resolve)

    W/e would someone be willing to send me an invite? :D
