The Star Wars Galaxies official site has been updated with an article which gives tips and tricks for decorating player housing.
Interior decorators can add even more of a personal touch with the new rotation commands in Chapter 8. New commands can be used to make moving furniture easier, and home designers can use new pitch and roll abilities when they complete two new Chapter 8 collections!
What are Pitch, Yaw, and Roll?
Pitch, yaw, and roll refer to the rotation axis for an object.
Rotation around the longitudinal (front-to-back) axis is called roll, and rotation around the lateral (side-to-side) axis is called pitch. Yaw, previously called Rotate Left/Right in Star Wars Galaxies, is rotation around the vertical axis.
Rotating Items
The left and right furniture rotation commands have been replaced with new yaw commands. Open the radial menu on the furniture you would like to adjust.
Under Rotate, select Yaw + and Yaw -, or use the slash command /rotateFurniture yaw <degrees (-180 to 180)>.

Finally, stole from Vanguard on an idea.
Really, why was this made a collection reward? They shouldn't be that desperate to find things to put in. This is more of a base needed ability. Oh well, the saga goes on.

making ingame mechanisms collector rewards, damn they are so stupid, instead of giving as much content as free avaialble as possible, to gain more subscribers, they do exactly the opposite ! instead of beeing uniqe and rare as pre-cu used to be, they copied world of warcraft...

Note that this is a very minor feature of Chapter 8 but a feature that's been requested since the beginning of the game. More major features include the Imperial Star Destroyer instance, the Ord Mantell space sector & Nova Orion space station plus more.
what about the major feature of roll back and a 90 degree turn back to normal.. as cartman sez screw u hippies...
SOE is coming back pretty strong with Galaxies and I am really seeing more people in game every day, its not like they are needed because the current population I'd say is just right. I am not having any trouble finding stuff on the markets or selling for that matter. If no one was playing then It would be hard to play the game as it relies on other people to input into the game.

What 90 degree back to which normal is that? We had 2 years of Pre-NGE and 2 years of Post-NGE. Roll back would help who? Roll back would piss off those that joined since NGE with removal of thier second toons. Then you would just have both camps pissed at SOE. Catch 22 either way.
Just remember fondly of Pre-NGE and put all your hopes and desires in the new BioWare/Lucas Arts project. As everyone here knows, they can't make a mistake by rushing developement and missing thier target audiance. It just can't happen with electronic gods they are.
