Is this fair?! (first kill)

Ok, i was in eind, hiding in some bushes while a crapload of everything you can imagine went past, enemy tanks. freindly tanks, a buttload of both sides infintry, it was chaos. I decide to run inside a house behind me to help out my teamates inside, to my surprise when i get inside a german is standing in the doorway, i fire and miss, he fires and hits me.I continue shooting and decide to pull out the knife, i hit the wrong button and pulled out smoke and accidently threw it. I then pull out my knife. At this point me and the lone german are fighting close knife to knife combat in smoke while i got a red screen that i can barely see through. We spin in circles and i slash him 3 times, i then look around in confusion and see that i have killed him. I run outside and try to get to base, but change my mind and hide by some trees waiting for a lift to base or somewhere safe. Instead i get hit and killed by a rifleman. Now heres what i think isnt fair, that was my first kill, it nearly scared me to death, i truly dont think it is fair that you dont get points for your first kill if you die. I was freaking out because it was scary AND i wanted the points (or whatever it is) , thats why i was trying to get to my base, to despawn. Is this fair?
P.S. This game is the only game that has ever had me in such an adrenaline rush and so scared at the same time.

I think u get some points but lot less then u would get if u have survived.
It's not fair? Why? Is life fair? or the war fair?
This is the way of things and the sooner u get used to it the less frustrated u get.

Well..it would habe been a great mission for a Newcomer if You would have made it back to Base!
But if You go out as Inf attacking an enemy city You most likely will get killed sooner or later.
If You want to get mission success points and make rank quick help defending own cities that are under attack and respawn every 10 minutes to get ms points!
Attacking enemy cities is the harder, more dangerous and more time-consuming thing to do...

Life is too short to play bad games.
War isn't fair ww2 models this aspect quite nicely without ramming it down our throats too badly.
If you want easy infantry rank simply do point defense missions priority 1. Take one of these, wait 10 minutes at spawn point, then despawn. Do about 10-12 of these andyou are captain.
