Advice please

I'm looking to get back into a mmo while I wait for some upcoming titles "Age of conan, huxley, Warhammer Etc." What would be a good one to get back into with a good community, pvp, solo and group content, raiding, and a good story.

    Well I'll post my 2 Cents. When I was playing Dark Age of Camelot(the game I played over the christmas break) I saw a great community with nice people(specifically the gareth server, high pop). There is PVP due to the realm versus realm battles against the 3 nations. You can certainly solo as much as you want or group doing tasks or just plain dungeon fun with friends. I saw raids all the time going to kill dragons, ALL the time people were doing shouts about them 24/7. and I enjoyed the story as I was doing quests. One quest had me kill a rat catcher who had lured all the little children away from their homes if he didn't get paid his sum of money for ridding the town of the rats(which they showed him actually do). Anywho cool game I must say.

    I agree. DAoC is a great game. Played every free trial I could get. I love it, I just can't do an actual subscription. But I definitely had fun while playing. The servers are stable, players are friendly (for the most part), quests aren't all repetitious (kill X of these and collect X of those), the classes and races are fun, etc. Overall it was a really entertaining game. After trying WoW, LoTRO and basically every other free trial I could, DAoC was the only one I really wanted to go back to and continue to play . . . well and LoTRO, but I'm a dork ^_^

    I will add a third voicwe to Daoc. A great game while you wait for something "not WoW". One reason is because in the trial version its basically the full game. there are very little no no restrictions as to what you can do during your 2 week trial. Its basically where I placed myself as I , too, wait for WAR or AoC (Whichever comes first)
