in Tabula Rasa
I've downloaded the game and an update, but now when I start up the PlayNC Launcher and try to click "Play" for Tabula Rasa, it goes to another update but then says:
PlayNC Launcher Update Error
This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms
Error Code -1
I'm running Vista Ultimate and tried to do it again after turning off UAC, but still no luck. Any suggestions?

having the same error. XP sp2 here. removed .net framework and resinstalled it, no luck. removed the game and all components, no luck.. tried http://support.microsoft.com/kb/911722, no luck.. going to start troubleshooting now to see what's up with this error that is preventing me from using the mmorpg 3day trial..

Had to turn this setting off to workaround the error:
run: gpedit.msc
computer config > windows settings > security settings> local policies > sec options > syste, cryptography: use FIPS compliant algorithms for enc, hashing, and signing >>> set to disabled
reboot after that
