I emailed the address on that page about a month ago asking some general questions about the positions listed there. Never got any kind of reply... I also know of another guy who actually mailed off his CV , and emailed , and never got any reply.
Are they actually hiring for this stuff or is this page just completely bogus and put up to make them look like they are actually legit?
It's been there for at least 6 months now.. kind of hard to believe you can't fill positions like this in 6 months if you're actually trying to.

I think that add is about one year old.
So yes, its shameful to still have it there. If they already have hired someone.

Just be careful if you do get hired and they say they'll pay you in a week; it is guaranteed to be pushed back by at least 4 weeks, with no information in the meantime.
Oh, and it is tough to pay employees in bottle caps, though if you accept broken promises they can make you a rich man.
On a serious note, I doubt they are still hiring, and question if they ever were. Aventurine has absolutely no credit in my eyes anymore, and I struggle to believe anything they feed us, when they do deign to do so.
I guess they get a lot of people like you who are not for real, or interested in the positions, they've probably learned to tell who is legit and who is just seeking attention.

Like I said before, MANY gaming companies are constantly searching for game programers...just like airlines are looking for pilots all the time. So that add is not really wierd. The position of Lead QA should already have been filled if they really are far they suppose to be with the game. Most likely they simply not updating the web-page.

THEY obviously expect people too. So why would that be so surprising?
know what the messed up thing is, i can relate to that lol. i just quit a job that did something similar to me on that, i get paid biweekly, i didnt get paid for 4 weeks+ lol. finally got paid, and was then missing 10 hours lol. then they merged my 10 hours discrepency to my 3rd check i recieved this friday, so i quit this friday, just came in to hand in my ID and left them in the lurch. lol talking about a bunch of incompetent chimps. lol id rather tough it out with my freelance, at least i know i will always get paid on time. lol. hopefully ill get my final check right.
