Hey guys, just stopped playing WoW after 2 years and was goin through my old CD's and found my old EQ2 one, currently my EQ2 is updating (27 hours lol) and i have a free trial for 14 days.
Just wanted to know, how the servers work, like are there servers for people in australia?
Blizzard had servers sort of for aus, but with a shocking ping, just want to knwo if EQ2 has such a thing, if not is there a server that has a large aussie/asian player base around the +10 time zone?

Najena has always been the Unofficial Aussie server. So if your looking for lots of people to play with in the Aussie time zone thats your best bet.
Thanks heaps.
:P any tips on a good starting class? I cant remember to how to play this game ROFL.
Most classes can solo, so I would just pick something that fits your interest. I enjoyed the Bruiser, Shadowknight and Fury myself!
For ranged DPS you can't beat the Wizard.
For a good tank-mage, Shadowknight is a good bet.
For sheer beat-em-up fun, a Bruiser is a hoot.
For a healer that can inflict a good amount of hurt, a Warden is good (I haven't played a Fury, so I can't comment on it).
As said before, pretty much any class can solo effectively. The ones I mentioned are the ones I've solo'd very effectively with and so far had the most fun playing. I'm currently concentrating on a Bruiser - unarmed combat FTW (at least for me).
I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play.
