i am going to play this game if daoc dies out soon for me.<when ever eq2 comes out> and i want to know if i have to have all the eq stuff to get this new one.

    No. As far as I can gather, if you have ever played an MMO before, you should fit in well here. They are adding new things that have never been done before, but it should be alright. Also, if you have a computer that can run the game, you should do well.

    I posted but I guess it didn't go through.. You dont need any previous everquest stuff... You wont be transferring your chars from eq1 to eq2 or anything.. only good thing about palying eq1 with eq2 is that you can pass stuff down to your characters if you decide to keep them in your eq1 characters blood line.... I am guessing they wont let ya pass down anything major, probably just a little item to help out newbies to eq2 since even if it is something huge it has to take the 500 year journey :O
