I've noticed that these forums are starting to log us out in the middle of posting messages far more frequently now than they were before.
Have u guys been seeing this?

This site will never use a canned code forum system like VB or PHP, this is all original code here. We have noticed the issues and are workign to resolve them, sorry for any inconviences which you may suffer in the mean time. I myself have gotten into the habit of selecting all on my post and copying it before I hit submit that way if it fails I can just go back in and paste it in.

Ya, the forums are a bit broken...they are #1 on my priority list for repairs - which should start around mid August. Basically we are having growing pains around here. In the last 30 days our traffic has nearly doubled. We will be working on the forum code, and installing another server and load balancer on our network rack (this will give us a total of 3 dual Xeon 3Ghz servers driving the site)
Stick with us...because these forums are hand crafted we will be able to do things with them that other sites could only dream of...I just hate canned code - what can I say
The current problem with the site crashing is a memory locking issue...which will only get worse with higher traffic levels like we have been seeing. I also have my new business partner working on a new propietary database driven session control system which will stay alive even during a server crashes - so that your login will not be lost when this happens (although the server may still not be available for 30-60 seconds).

Very interested to see that it is original forum code used here. I've never been exposed to anything except PHP in my time in Forums. I must say, the Forums here look very slick. Not that I am a coder of any sort.
Ditto on the copy/paste thing. You learn from experience.
