i played alot of mmo's and except for tabula rasa i have noticed something. you dont really actually watch whats going on. i spend most of my time looking at my skills and clicking on them then actually watching my character fight. most of the time you are focusing on your skills recharging and when to use them than actually watching your character doing the move. why have we not noticed this before we made tabula rasa? i actually have to look where im shooting in tabula rasa. it is awesome i get to actually see what i am doing. too bad tabula rasa has its flaws though.

    DDO's combat is also more fluid and "twitch".

    thought i get more responses than this. oh well i guess im the only one who notices your always lookin down in mmo's.

    Skills arent always located at the bottom e.g(Shaiyla) ...But of course the skill bar can always be moved..

     

    I dont think im really like that I like to see whats going on the most of the time. I guess if its a game where you need to strategize alot with your skills and you have to be fast all the time, then your going to want to be focusing on your skills more. It depends what game like in SOTNW in the earlier levels anyways you dont really even need to rely on skills a whole lot. I guess when a game gets boring as well your not really focusing a whole lot on anything other then the skills.

    TR does have it flaws unfortunatly.

    One of AoC biggest  features is a more skill based approach to battles. And not Auto-attack ad nauseum. I wrote a quick article comparing  AoC and WAR that goes over these on my website.

    So, Take a look into the AoC website and boards here at MMORPG.com ...you may find that it will have what your looking for

    could do what I did and jusr memorize what nunber is each skill and just spam them as you watch. Because in wow I see everything I do lol....
