The phrase "Too little, too late" comes to mind. I remember feeling good about the game until I saw the IP block. Sour grapes? Maybe.. The most this American can say is that I choose to spend my time and money on games that let Americans play. I am sure they did not mean to offend me, but the offense is there. My time and money goes to the people that actually want me to play their games as a result.
They have to use IP blocks because it is licensed only in specific countries for most of you who played the betas of the game. Due to other countries having the possibility of licensing the game, outside countries are blocked.
Would you rather have been able to play for a while and get really high or maxed and have nice gear and a great group to play with, only to have your IP banned due to clauses and your country licensing the game?
Or would you rather not have to deal with any of that and just imagine that you understand how game distribution goes? No offense is taken by people who understand how games are distributed.

Unfortunately thats pretty much what happened; admittedly lvl50 for a month isnt all THAT long, but most ppl beta'ing the EU version got their hopes pretty high, then came the IP bomb dropped on us.
I don't think (at least I hope not) the 'sour grapes' come from the ip block itself, so much as it was the fact we were left in the hands of a company that requests the ip block but then can't get its shit together, which left us high and dry for 18 months. Personally, I took one look at the previous NA version when the EU IP block was first announced and knew we were screwed. But Cabal should be in REALLY good hands with OGplanet.
ive been checking on there site over and over again for the pass like wut 4 weeks now or so, wahhhhhhhhhhhhh im bored out of my mind been waiting for this game for about a year now or so ugh!!!
Personally, I don't bother with games that allow me to play ONLY with other Americans (via an IP Ban)....I enjoy playing with the Euro's, I don't make the same distinction with China or Korea, only because of the sheer number of them not because I wouldn't want to game with them!!! But, if I wanted to play with Americans only, I'd host a LAN party....guess I won't be trying this game out either...oh well.

Hopefully those Brits dont keep this game to themselves!!!! that would be greedy
Looks pretty cool-its in competition with RF online, which is also a pretty good game.
