I was just wondering for all you people who are actively involved in zombie culture, what is so appealing about it. I'm kinemortophobic (fear of zombies) so i've always just avoided it. Why do you like watch zombie movies or playing games like dead rising. What is so appealing.
p.s. This is not a flame thread, intending to be a flame thread, or trying to start a flame war, I'm just curious.

Can't wait for Left4Dead though. I like Zombie movies and games cause i like to be the last person on earth alive with hot chicks and being able to kill all those people in lots of kool ways and it being legal

Yeh, whats sucks is that I like zombie stuff, but I can't watch or play it. It doesn't scare me during the day but if I watch it, that night I won't be able to get it out of my head and it makes me physically sick.
There's a medical term for every fear you can come up with.
Two words.
Zombie. Porn.

I like zombie games because they're bloody and violent, and often involving a lot of zombie shooting. I like hack 'n' slash zombie games even more because I can just chop zombies up and it's fun. I like survival zombie games because I like the suspense and I like being scared in a game (to a certain extent) (this is why I liked Half Life 2 when I first played it, but then I started playing about with the console and making antlion guards maul the combine for me and that deleted my savegames somehow so I just stopped playing cos I was pissed off).
I don't particularly like zombie movies or any horror movies TBH. The only one I really like is Shaun of the Dead cos it's funny.
So, yeah. That's why I like zombie games.

I like zombie stuff because I love the idea of living in a post apocalyptic zombie world. I'd be good at it- dealing with hostile undead and human beings alike, taking what I wanted, hunting, and living off the land.
No stupid college, no stupid job, no stupid coworkers.
