I know the MMORPG contest starts tonight. I know some other sites have also run AO AI betas contests. Has anyone gotten into the beta yet? If so, any first impressions on the features?

Not trying to advertise anotehr site, but the AO forums in MMhell seem to have people that have the beta. Right now they are discussing how the file will be sent and how it works, so I don't think anyone is in the beta yet.

That would make sense. But I'm supprised it's taking this long, we haven't even broke 50 yet. Whenever i win one of these (twice now) it takes me about 2 minutes to confirm.

You don't have to be glued to your computer 24/7 to log in to a web site and check if you won a contest, well at least I don't have to be. It takes 5 minutes, tops.

lol, yeah. Pretty cool beta to get into, I hope they'll be boosting level, would be a pain in the ass to have to get 200 to test the really good AA stuff.

From the sounds of it, you won't need to be lvl 200 to get to the good stuff in AI. When the aliens attack cities they change difficulty to suit the players they are attacking.

I'm sure some of the new armors, weapons and perks will have levels caps of up to 220 on em.

Anyone feel there was slightly too many US winners to be coincidence? with the sheer volume of euro players Id have thought the law of averages would have meant a wider spread.

Just a thought. ( By the way, No i didnt win =P bitter much? )

Well, "I am Canadian" and with that out of the way, most winners are from the USA simply because more of them signed up for the contest. Most likely 75% or more of the people at mmorpg.com are from the USA

Honestly, I thought I would be like in the 80's, autocomplete is teh sux! I had to type like 60 WPM full adrenaline rush just to see I got number 2, huge sigh of relief
