Have you wandered these lands, driven by a whisper in your ear urging you to seek out the mythical city of death, Nexmoenia? Be wary, traveler, for you may have found this home to headhunters and bloodthirsty barbarians. Or perhaps, it’s merely a mirage…
Sanguiphoria is a guild formed with a vision: To dominate Hyboria. We aim to be the best at everything we do. Based in the Eastern Time Zone, our members are focused on extracting the maximum amount of enjoyment from every aspect that Age of Conan has to offer, in PvP, PvE, Raiding, Crafting and Roleplay. To accomplish such lofty goals requires a high commitment to teamwork as well as an unwavering dedication to concentrating our complete efforts. We are seeking quality members to add to our ranks, preferably those with past MMO experience in PvP and Raiding environments.
While we work hard, we play even harder. Our guild presents a Roleplay experience to those who wish to participate, offering a variety of activities such as mounted jousting tournaments, drunken brawling competitions, and bawdy tavern crawls. While it is not required to be “in-character,” roleplayers will find a comfortable and fully stocked tavern within the walls of Nexmoenia, our player city, with ample drinking companions with whom to share an ale, or a tale.
We wish to achieve balance between all play styles of the Age of Conan; however, at or near the “end game,” our focus will lean heavily toward PvP and Raiding as we approach our goal of domination. Our members thrive on consuming all game content, not rushing headlong to the level cap. Instead, we embrace all that the world of Hyboria has to offer along the way. We view our time in-game as an adventure, not a job, with fun being our primary concern. Our members enjoy a variety of options for interaction, including our own Ventrilo server, as well as one of the most active forums in Hyboria.

An endless sea of shadows rolled aimlessly over the land. The emptiness of nothing, steals thy breath within its chilling embrace. Devil mists, lift defiantly to the heavens blacking out the sun. With the ominous impedance of a sinister omen, the exhale of death consumes the stoutest hearts. A cold wind blows from the north. Those within its howl fell to the snarling clutch of ethereal wolves adorned in midnight. Rivers of blood stained the most majestic armor. Courage, spilled from the wounds of valor and were trampled into the earth. The armies of darkness had descended upon the lands and laid before us a choice: To embrace that which is dark and wicked, or to stand as candle in the wind. That choice is ours alone.

Sanguiphoria is a guild about making new friends, and having high adventure with a strong focus on teamwork, desire and commitment. We are an Eastern Time Zone based PvP, PvE, Raiding and Light RP Guild. We seek new friends that will play together and achieve together in a friendly casual atmosphere with a hard core devotion. We seek those with past MMO, PvP and Raiding experience. Light role-play is available to enhance the gaming atmosphere but, it is not "required" to be in character. Although Raiding is in our Charter, it is not the primary focus. We wish to achieve balance between all the styles of play but at or near “end game” the focus will lean toward PvP and Raiding. We thrive in consuming ALL content and will not necessarily race to the “end game” for “end games” sake. It will still be there when we arrive and we shall roll in like Lions! Until then, it is simply the calm before the storm. Despite our lofty goals Sanguiphoria will not feel like a job, it will feel like an adventure! Fun is our primary concern, but as passionate gamers we will not live under another's shadow.
The Focus:
Our focus is on PvP, PvE, Raiding and Light RP. Our mission is to explore everything that Hyboria has to offer, and to control and embrace the end game PvP Combat and Raiding while keeping our "members first." We will not be a machine, but instead will approach “end game” as a Journey to be savored. When we have seen and done it all, we will have developed bonds that will allow us to dissect the “end game” with tactical precisions and respected authority. “We Work smarter, not harder. To do this we must become ONE, and work as a “partnership” with a common objective.
Fun and Camaraderie:
Is, and will always remain “Job One.” We will raise the bar and make new friends one member at a time. We strive to be your family out in the wilds of Hyboria. We will remain committed to each other as brothers and sisters in all our endeavors; be it Adventure, Crafting, or Socializing. Each is as equally important as the other.
What We Seek:
Our success is only achievable by our members. We seek team players, friendly, helpful, committed, mature, and loyal. These individuals are selfless and strive to be “that” to all others. We seek those that can communicate their voice on all subjects good or bad in a respectable and approachable manor. We embrace those that wish to become brothers and sisters on the Quest of a life time where we depend upon and need the other. The lone wolf will find little comfort here!
Commitment and Attitude (Ideally)
- 20 hours minimum playtime between the hours of 5pm – 1am EST.
- Any absenteeism for longer than 7 days must be posted in the forums.
- Members absent from game longer than 7 days without notice will be removed from the guild.
- PvP and Raids Participation - We plan to raid 2-3 times weekly and PvP will be a constant theme during "end game" There is room for casual play and it is understood. But, for the most part we love to be involved, active, and on line as much as real life permits. You will never be punished for not committing tons of time. However, if stated you will be somewhere at a certain day and time we expect you to honor it.
- Hardware must meet or exceed minimum specs posted by Funcom. Dungeons and battlegrounds can be laggy places.
- We will be using Voice Chat for PvP and Raiding. The ability to at least "Listen In" is required. *this feature not yet active.
- Respect EVERYTHING, this means Yourself, The Leaders and Officers, The Members, the AoC Community, and Members of Other Guilds. You will wear our tag Sanguiphoria, so represent yourself with pride and dignity. Be known, in a positive manor. Rez someone as you pass by and are able. Pass out free buffs. Say hello to a stranger. Be a positive addition to our gaming world and build our reputation in a positive light.
- Be a team player.
- Act in a mature and respectful attitude. Leet talking, and trash talking is not a representation of this virtue.
- You MUST be at a minimum age of 18 to join this guild.
Communications:
The leaders and Officers of Sanguiphoria have an open door policy. Our goal is to maximize fun, consume all content, and keep drama to minimum.
All things of a sensitive matter i.e.…”disputes, disagreements, suggestions and so forth,” that might be considered material that may disrupt or make waves in normal guild activity must be expressed in private to an Officer or Leader.
Role-play:
Sanguiphoria are a Neutral light RP guild. Although encouraged, it is not mandatory. It exists to help enhance the enjoyment and immersion into your game play.
We will be playing on the RPvP FFA Server. We do this because in our experience playing on a role-play server tends to cater to a more mature or older crowd. This is subject to change, depending on the development of the servers and community.
Applicants:
- Fill out the application form. You can click -=HERE=- to fill one out now!
- Register on our Forums with your predicted “in game” first name only.
- Be sure to have Ventrilo voice client assessable.
- Be an active participant on the forum (always).
- If possible, seek out Sanguiphorian members and try to group with them. Remember who you were with and what you were doing as they may be called on as a character reference on your behalf.
- While an applicant. You may seek out an Officer or Leader in the guild to "Tag" you in game as an initiate. After your trial period you will be promoted to full member.
- You are under evaluation (as are we to you) to see if you/us would be a good fit. Be as active as you can both in game and in the forums, not just during your application process, but always. We strive to build a strong community that will endure for many years to come; as brothers and sisters.
No One Left Behind Policy:
Inspired by a forum post some time ago about the negative aspects of belonging to a guild, how it only seems to serve the leadership, and eventually creates the formation of “cliques,” Sanguiphoria is incorporating the No One Left Behind Policy. This means we will return to the roots of guild formation with the following: Camaraderie, fun, achievement, socialism, pride, and reliability. This policy will always be growing and shaping. The golden rule to remember is the return of "One for all, and all for one."

Hello MMORPG Age of Conan community! My name is Shamius, and I am an officer of Sanguiphoria. First off, I would like to invite you to drop by the website and say hello! But let's get down to business...
We are a light roleplay guild which has focuses on every aspect of Age of Conan. Our fellow members show devotion towards Player vs. Player(PvP), Player vs. Environment(PvE), roleplaying(though it is not required, it is encouraged), and crafting. In order to accomplish all of these areas, we have given our members the opportunity to do all four or focus mainly on what they choose. How did we do this?
We created different legions within our guild with directional focus in each aspect of AoC. We have the Blood Legion devoted heavily on the PvP aspect. Whether it is open area PvP, instanced PvP, or high-population battle sieges, you will always be able to count on members of this legion to watch your ass.
We have the Legio Morte which focuses on crafting, dungeons, quests, maps, and even in-depth game mechanics to help the entire guild. If you enjoy raiding with fellow guild mates, or if you like to craft essential weapons and armor for our guild, this is your home.
Lastly, we have Infinitas. This division of our guild is devoted to roleplay. I invite everyone of you to come down to our site and read backstories of our members, and if you feel up to it, take part in our RP stories alonside us.

I have been playing MMO's since beta of EQ and through the years I have experienced many guilds. By far, without question, Sanguiphoria has been the best! There is never a dull moment in Sanguiphoria.

I've been part of this guild for a while, and I have to say it's much better than a majority of pre-game guilds, and certainly is worth a look at if you are interested in Age of Conan. I know a lot of people are skittish about joining a pre-game guild, but Sanguiphoria isn't the run-of-the-mill type of guild. It's very organized and best of all, everyone is friendly.
There's a nice atmosphere here at Sanguiphoria, not too serious but serious enough to get stuff done. We'll be aiming at being the best at everything we do. Whether it's PvP or crafting, we will be as good as possible. With great teamwork neither PvP nor PvE will be too hard to over come, and everything else falls in between those so no worries about being left alone.
If you want your worth tested, test it with Sanguiphoria. You're only worry then is if you come up short.
