The only reason why I am not playing PW is because there is no version exactly for NA. I am paranoid (seeing as it has been done quite a few times) that the developers from other places will do some drastic things to the game ending up screwing it up... Just wondering if there is any chance this game will have specific NA version?

Usually from my experience is that when the NA/US servers come out, that's when we see games get screwed up. You have games with lots of content and what-nots but the game is sold to foreign countries back in their 1.0 builds, or worst.
My theory is when the PW US servers hit, Malaysian version MIGHT have the things I was really interested in (such as their insane player house building setup, if the Youtube videos were accurate). And the US version will trail behind.
I can't remember where I read it, but supposedly the company behind Perfect World is assuring that all companies will receive the same updates; so playing the game on any version will roughly be the same. Right now I know Open Beta on the Malaysian/International English servers is mostly taking a while due to the conversion process.
I enjoyed playing Closed Beta, I'm really looking forward to coming back but right now I'm waiting to hear if it's going to live up to its promise or crash and burn like many imports. Plus, there's still the "announced" plans of a US server...which needless to say, I'd join in a heartbeat if they can keep up with international.
I'm just waiting for the housing...
For localization I just wish a coherent and professional text translation.
Just look at Sword of the New World localization when compared with the original and how it's changed.
From what I hear from people in game(these are just rumors at this point, but so far I have no reason to doubt them), they are going to release a server in NA(the current English server is in Malaysia). There are lag problems for many users right now, a server dedicated to NA should fix a lot of that. Other than the translations being completely re-done, the game you will be playing on the NA server is exactly the same as the one on the Malaysian English beta server right now.
Like i said just rumors, but really, why fix what isn't broken and change the game specifcly for NA? Other than the lag and the horrible translations, why change it?
