Need help finding File

Hello, i need help finding out how to update one particular file since there was only one in the patching process that was somehow corrupted in the download, and i dont fancy downloading 600mb just to see if i can get that one file working.

The file in question is the FxBuff.upk.diff file found in the 'FuryPatch28152_to_32878.exe' The version i had was downloaded from internode.

So if anyone can provide me with either that specific file thats been extracted from the %temp% zip file, or even if people can provide some information on how big their FxBuff.upk file is in the upto date client.

It can be found in the GOGameContentPackages folder.

    I had a similar problem once and thought the same thing. I was trying tp fix the corrupt file download and discovered the filename of a file that was corrupt. However upon replacing this file I then realised it was not only that file that was corrupt.

    You will be better off re-downloading in the long run believe me (unless the thought of possibly replacing 100+ corrupt files sounds like fun). It may not be the case, but I wouldn't take the risk tbh.

     

    Just make sure you use a browser with a download manager (firefox).

    There may also be a torrent flying about somewhere out there.

    When i tried extracting the archived patched zip, winzip successfully extracted everything except for that one file. So i was lucky there.

    Also, with some help from the support desk, they were able to provide me an upto date file which seems to work so far online, as i have actually been able to play the game now, rather than having it crash on me before.

    I know that other people seemed to have the same problem as me trying to patch from a retail dvd, and hopefully my ticket should be able to provide some work-around solutions for the time being, if not causing the patch to be fixed in the first place.
