What class will you probably play at launch!

(I know this has been done, but I havnt found a poll on it yet... so hope yall dont mind

for me, I am going an assassin for sure, anything sneaky like

I know they all dont fit, so ill post another poll to get the rest, if not, you know what they are

EDIT: It seems I cant add another poll, so if anyone else can, could you put the rest of the classes up, if not, you could just post about the other classes.

thanks for making this poll in here too, i know theres same poll in the conan-forums and that there people was nicely scattered and there wasnt really one particular class that everyone voted, but now i can see that assassin class is coming popular on here, which is actually great thing, gives me more chance to read about people's post how they have build their assassins and what things are MUST and what things are discouraged

i wish i could see what people have voted in part2 but i dont want to vote there since it the voting system would be a bit broken then since i already took part in the part1.

ps. come forth, bear shamans; you are needed as well

Yeah, I know its in the conan forums, but I didnt find one on mmorpg.com, so I thought I would make one. I am going an assassin too for sure, it seems people on this forum seem to like it more than the barbarian. Hopefully people talk about their builds, because I am usually hopeless at making my own, although I think Funcom is making it a pretty easy system.

im very amazed that there are less barbarians... when i talked about lotro with my friend, he is still playing that game after half a year now, in the beginning everyone took melee class that dish out lot of damage.. im not sure if it was guardian in lotro but if im correct; in age of conan same kind of class would probable be barbarian.. why is there so few ?

ah well, dont really want to rant about this since im actually reliefed to see that people want to roll with different kinds of classes, would be boring to see only barbarians running around noobwoods with twohanded sword and loin cloth

if i would play with a real swordman i would prolly go with barbarian though conquerer wouldnt be bad choice either.. i nearly ever play with priest or mage class but if i would play as one, i'd might try herald of xotli; shapeshifters are interesting.. and even more interesting if they change into demons

If I was going to be a mage, I would also go as the Herald of Xotil or Lich, because they are both melee casters, that are capable melee fighters. Although the HoX sounds awsome, being able to shapeshift into a demon would be an awsome sight I have always liked the sneaky type classes anyway, and the assassin can deal out its fair share of damage too, if they can get the first shot from behind

yea, i will be stealing other peoples kidneys like no tomorrow too and sell them in the black market. but until that; i can only play tracks from the aoc web page and look the conan movies and read the books, track name "hymn for king conan" is my favorite. i cant stand this endless waiting

I voted Druid of the Storm but I could go Bear Shaman as well (noticed here that got 0 votes when I voted anyway).

I usually like those druid/shaman type classes.

Its hard to really say tho until I have the game.

I went with the Barbarian as my main, but like any mmo i've played I awalys roll a caster alt... Lich looks awesome!!! I think I'll have a better idea when AoC comes out in March.

Yeah, it'll be good to hear more about the magic system. I usually go for magic damage, but who knows? Perhaps something else will interest me here.

It would be interesting to hear more on the magic system, like spellweaving for example. I will probably go a caster class as an alt, I am sticking with the assassin all the way as my main. I do not want to change my mind.

There is a rumour that there will only be 12 classes at launch though, instead of 14, still.

Well, I'll just have to try all classes out before I can really make up my mind and focus on playing with one character. Though, I bet i'll go with the assassin.

I'll be playing one of the Rogue classes as my main, either barbarian or assassin. The Bear Shaman sounds pretty interesting too but from what I've seen they are a difficult class to play.

One of the tank classes. Friend of mine is rolling a healer.

Although i'd like to be dps tank, I'll probably roll Guardian just to ensure i'm quite viable. I'm not well read enough to assume the dps tanks will be just as viable/sought after ( perhaps this info isn't even released )

Ive yet to decide really, I like pvp but also want to be needed pve. So with Guardian im afraid to fall behind in pvp, conqueror/dark templar afraid to fall behind in pve.

Wow! Really I didnt know that there were rumours of only 12 classes at launch. Which classes are the rumoured to be taken out? It would be interesting to know.

So what I said does have some substance in that regard

Beta is a stage of the game where things change, and change is to be expected.

The combat system sounds fun, so it could be guardian/druid/demonoligist/ranger.

Shooting of a horse back sounds fun!

Aye I've beta tested 12 mmorpg's so yes they change

But as said reporters and magazine writers got to play an old build of the game, it's just that people going crazy over the leaks now, but the thruth is that even the beta testers don't know the final decision.

Just people speculatin over an article or leak
