Its basically Diablo II with better graphics, a better control system. More things to do. And a bit of PVP. Nothing in general really makes it different than other games of its genre other then the fact that its alot more fun then most of them, its a lot more fast paced, and more fun in groups. The quests can get kind of repetitive but after a while and after you deal with it for a while it gets great. I guess you can say its different because of the fact that they have "Randomly Generated Areas" which is awesome because every time you play it it's different, also the loot is HUGE like the amount of different weapons and armors are insane to even try to comprehend. Its a great game, its worth a shot.
