The answer is ...it doesnt matter.
What matters is which character do you enjoy playing the most. if its the horde toon, play horde, otherwise play the Alliance. If your tired of being outnumbered in PvP, switch to the overpopulated side.

So you've played 2 characters to 70, one on each side and you can't tell the difference between the 2 factions?

I'd say Horde, I've played both, Have a 70 on both, honestly Alliance has an easier time leveling in some lower level zones but it evens out at the end, most of the bases are similar the only real unique thing either side has now is their expantion leveling area (noob zones from 1-20) I'd say that Horde wins that because of the Ghostlands, Tranquillen is a nice way to level super fast and get some sweet gear, doesn't compare to blood watch of the alliance side.
but yeah, I hate WoW, mostly because once you get to 70 it slows down too much, because of the linear make up of the game and the way it plays its way too repetative to keep running the same endgame dungeons, Alliance OR Horde, basicly what they should do is make more World PVP that doesn't suck and more BGs that arn't in exsistance for the sole purpose of getting gear x.x
oh and Player housing specific to your Faction/race would make the games replay value skyrocket.
but yeah, I prefer Horde.

I think horde has better racial bonuses than alliance.

I dont see how you've been able to play both sides and not tell the difference specially if your in a pve server. unless your in two different pvp servers which that i can kind of understand.. but When it comes to horde vs alliance its very very server dependent. mostly it comes down to population size of the server and win/loose ratio of bg's you do. personally i roll alliance just because thats what i really know and prefer. but when it comes straight down to it i agree with the poster above, imo horde does have better racial bonus abilities abilities over all than alliance does..
I like the Horde's quests better. Even though they are usually harder than their Alliance counterparts(ie Ally - kill 10 enemies, Horde - get 10 rare drops)
To, in such a short post, be able to say the exact same thing twice. I think that my fantastic sense for the small nuances in life has spotted exactly what message you want to spread to the general populace.

i can't stand alliance, even after buying a dwarf priest I only lasted about 4 months before I went back to horde.

If you follow the stories of both factions, the actions of the alliance are far more "evil" than that of the horde. The horde are just uglier. That said, from my experience in the game, I would say Alliance have an easier start to their game regardless of race, but the horde (on every server I have played on) have a better community and are more united.
my highest level toon is alliance, but thats just because i play with all my real world friends
the horde is much more fun IMO, playing horde on a PVP server is so much more exciting and immersive than my PVE NELF
I have played two of them. In my oponion, it doesn't matter. I always choose one of them according to the sever. I like the game~~~
Well I think that the alliance are easier to level than the horde, but the horde have ragefire cavern a level 13-16 instance which you can get pretty decent stuff from.
