Yea and you need to rethink what you just said Match 25th is the RELEASE DATE, the reff to 'open beta' means that you'll be paying for a game that is not complete and buggy and the masses well be the testers although they are paying
We all pay for games that are incomplete, it's part of the MMO world. Some times it horrid (Vangaurd), sometimes its average (SWG) and sometimes they get it fairly right (LoTRO).
And since when is a few hundred thousand extra idiots that don't care about testing the game going to make a game better than a a hundred thousand dedicated players there to actually test?
Oh yea. Every day I see people trading/selling AoC and WAR cb accounts. Really dedicated testers alright and really interested in the outcome of the game huh?
Let's face it, all of these mmo will always have a bunch of sour players regardless of what they do. I play Tabula Rasa and the entire server I play on is filled with the same type of chatter you find on WoW, except that these kids all bash WoW.
And guess what? They're all in Tabula Rasa until AoC or WAR gets released so you're going to see them in those games as well. All of these mmos will have kids and they will have ignorant idiots regardless. I personally don't feel like spending 50 bucks to "try" a game, that's why trials and demos exist. If you have nothing else to spend your money on except games then you might not care, but anyone else won't want to dish out 50 bucks on something they're not sure about.
There are games out there that I have thought seemed so great and when I played them guess what? They weren't that good afterall.
