I couldnt get into it :(

I tried it.....just wasn't for me at all I suppose.

The graphics are really bad (I had them turned all the way up too) the races were blah and the storyline was just to unoriginal.

It was nice of them to offer the free offer and I appreciate it. (please do not think I play a game just cause of graphics because I dont..as I play http://www.achaea.com/main.html that a lot and it's a MUD)

I just couldnt stand the 3d Engine or something...reminded me of NeverWinterNights (although I love that game) but not as old as NWN.

But if you guys like it then cheers to ya! image

    The graphics are really bad? Ok, whatever!! I have a Radeon 9800 pro and can't turn on the graphics to full settings without serious lag.

    Games now playing:

    Woah.... The graphics are really bad!? You sure you didn't join AC1?? AC2 has equal or better graphics than most games even of recent release...

    If the graphics were that bad you must have set something VERY wrong on your settings...

    I dont mean like bad in a "space invaders sorta way"...i dont know how to explain it...I sorta didnt like them.  And thats just me...doesnt mean its a bad game for everyone.  Besides the graphics werent the key issue.

    Well, you likened the game to Neverwinter Nights so I guess that is a compliment! Its too bad you didn't like the game... I hope you have better experiences with other MMOGs.  image 

    I recommend only two games ATM:

    - Eve Online

    - Asheron's Call 2 (give it another shot, you know you wanna!)

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Either one of those games (or both such is my case) will hold you over until the all-too-much hyped WoW or EQ2.

    I heard the same thing from a friend of mine who tried the AC2 trial for like 30 minutes - "The graphics are bad".  I was floored!  I've heard a lot of things about AC2 but never imagined I would hear anyone say the graphics are bad.  Personally, I like the graphics better than AO-shadowlands or any of the more recently developed MMO's.  The weather effects are nice too.

    I tried it... it got way too monotonous for me. I will say i only got to lvl 30 though.

    What did you feel was bad about them? Model design? Overall graphics? I can say that I think that games like HL2, EQ2, or WoW are bad... (which I dont think they are btw) But that really isn't saying much unless I say exactly why I feel they are bad...

    Its crazy that some people are coming on and saying the graphics are bad when X, who points out quite regularly the downfalls of AC2 even backs that the graphics are very good....

     

    Sometimes I wonder if people actually tried the game or if they are just posting to post.... I'll admit, there are downfalls to the game, but graphics are not one of them
