Female Bright Wizard Photograph!

Last week, I shared a photo of one of our members named "Red" as a female Zealot. This week, I am pleased to present "Ribbit" as a female Bright Wizard! Hope you like the artwork. As always, the photo was done and re-touched by "River".

And, as I did last week, here is a normal picture of Ribbit, so you can see the work that went into the transformation!

Yes, all the hot WAR girls are at our site lol

Publisher, you are smoking something illegal and burned out a lot of braincells, if you don't think she is nice looking.

    The picture is tight!

Good rework. This time I don't see very much stuff that looks out of place (such as the skulls in the last picture). However, she does look illogically thing. Also, the lamp looks a bit strange compared to the rest of picture, it's much more detailed and chaos looking. However the picture suffer from the same problem as the last one: it looks very... dead.

The clothes are just one color with a bit of lightning effects applied to it, while I'm not a pro at photoshop I've seen pictures which can capture a true living feeling. Also it feels like the whole picture has some added layer on it which makes it all go more into one color, it would look better with more differences in the picture.

I would also like to point out that the little yellow dot above the lamp looks way out of place. The background could have needed some more work, preferably a bit more feeling could've been put into creating flames rather than cool shapes that look slightly lake shapes.

Now don't get my wrong. I love the picture, it's awesome. The stuff I posted was just a few things I thought about when seeing the picture.

Last time I did go in and edit the skulls taking your advise, this time I don't even see it.  That's not even a lamp don't know what lamp you're talking about in the photo.  The orange speck is a reaction from the glow from her staff when I added a lightening rendering to it giving it more depth.  You're statement is weak and I like to see you try what I do.

As to the person who said Ribbit's not fit, you're smoking something.

It's just constructive criticism, don't take it all to heart.

I'm guessing he's referring to that large box hanging from her belt. Lamp is just a visual correlation he made since it's not clear what the object is supposed to be.

And don't listen to Publish, the guy who mentioned Ribbit is not fit. He's just a resident troll.

Lol not taking it to heart.  If his criticism had any real thoughts to it yes think I would have considered it.  To be honest I think it rocks.  I still like it.  Yeah if you look at the original concept art that's a scroll case.  I went online to find the best looking one.  That one won out.

hi sorry to post again, but godliest was talking of the lensflare effect over the belt adornment on her left side (our right), i can see where he is coming from, as lensflare is supposed to be a photographic anomaly, and as the picture takes a painting style it does look a very small fraction out of place, but the art direction is really nice and he was only posting an opinion after all, though he could maybe have said it in a more tactfull way instead of forming his post like an attack lol, again thanks again for all of your great artwork i have seen quite a few pieces that you have produced and i love your artwork in general and think you do a great service to the warhammer fans in producing it

    Very cool.

That pic makes one realize how incredibly SCARY it would be to live in a real life Warhammer world :)

But I'm willing to bet Jiffy Pop is a lot more popular in WAR with all those VERY fit bright wizards running around...

If you really want to see how much work went into the pic, there is a "before" picture posted in the forums our site. You can clearly see how much work River did. I was amazed at the transformation!

You missed my point totally. First of all, I love the picture however I only tried to provide you with some constructive criticism to improve the picture. The things I commented were mostly minor stuff and while it may have seemed like I didn't like the picture I would say that I loved everything except the things I commented.

As mentioned above the lamp is the thing at her hip that doesn't look like anything so I guessed it was a lamp. I know that the orange speck is reaction from the glow from her staff, however it still doesn't look good with the specks. The lightning in itself is a very good effect.

My intention with the post was to try to be helpful. I'm not even a 10th as good as the artist, but that doesn't mean I'm not fit enough to see things that look bad. No matter how good you are you can always improve.
