I've never been a big codemasters fan. meh.
"ready to play" in 59 days and its only just been announced. Hmmmm....
Somehow.... I don't think its gonna rock the house.
*is curious*
*is F2P trash*
Excuse me if I'm missing something, but where does it say it's F2P?
The date a project is announced is unrelated to the date it began development.
To date Codemasters has created more games that go from the store bag to the garbage can than any other 3 game developing companies combined.
They will need to do something extraordinary and I'll have to see somebody else buy it and show me how wonderful it is before they ever get another penny from me.
I heard they getting Jumpgate (Evolution maybe).... guess we will soon see......
I' ve never been a fan of CM and may be never will.

I have two words for you regarding that.
"Leak"
and
"Hype"
Games are announced early in development to generate hype (for a normal game, not an MMO, half way through the dev cycle is the usual time, MMO's are different due to the extreme length of time they're in development and the huge cost of making them).
Yea! Another cheap Asian point-and-click affair that CM was able to get distribution rights for on the cheap. Go go Codemasters! Your track record with MMO's is just stellar.
Indeed. I'm currently poor right now, so "free" always will ring a bell to me, but I didn't even bother to sign up for their thing in order to play this new game. I was more afraid of what kind of virus/adware/spyware I'd get.
This won't be a new MMO, just one they've secured publishing rights too for NA, EU or both. Plenty of games out there looking for a publisher, not many are worth hype though.
hmm the chronicles of spellborn still needed an US publisher... maybe this is it? They already had European and Asian publishers.
for those who still don't know the game www.tcos.com

Late 2008, that does not sound like Spellborn to me.
why not? developers always said that the US release date would be on a later date then the European one
ohh well 59 days and we'll find out

Because developers also have said that when they have a publisher they will strive to publish at the same time or very shortly after the European release when possible.
There is speculation on the TCoS forums too, but it doesn't quite fit for me. There is numerous Asian MMOs out there for them to pick up, Perfect World for instance is pretty big and coule do okay with an NA or EU server location. Do Huxley, Stargate and Jumpgate have publishers? Not really much point in guessing though, if they've managed to keep it secret so far, I doubt it will slip before March.
Huxley got Webzen as a publisher, although that game just looks like unreal tournament gameplay when i saw the latest gameplay trailer.
stargate worlds.... to be honest i have no idea, i don't think they have one yet. Jumpgate is as far as i know developed and published by NetDevil.
Damnit! Why couldn't they tell us the setting of the game, then we could at least scratch some of the list

umm, Codemasters has only pubslished 2 asian games, the other 2 are western games.
