The next mmo,

Honestly, this game will be the next game i play. the bloodshed, the pvp, the "mature" ways in game. the graphics, the grittyness. this IS the ultimate mmo. (for me.) and probably one of the better. only one other to compare to it at the moment is Warhammer. but even warhamemr does not have this grittyness and filthy type of pvp to it. and that's what i enjoy. I just wish i knew what the requirements will be, i cannot find them anywhere. And is it really a good thing to form guilds this early, almost 3 months before release?

maybe that's a question not to be answered. not sure but discuss! and seriously, anyone know the requirements minimal for this luscious pvp mmo?

They are supposed to be around what Oblivion's were although I don't see how that is possible myself. I feel just about the same way about the game as you do, this is going to be excellent and I can't wait until March when I finally get to play .

List your specs and I will try to give you a rough estimate as to how you will run it.

Need to try game before buying it. I'm too jaded a gamer to just fall for videos hypes. See, its all about the feel of the game and the challenge. Some might like the gritty world and the bloodshed while some will prefer the clean-cut, humorous world of Warhammer

They've said their goal was the system specs of Oblivion, but we don't have confirmation that they achieved their goal.

It is something risky, but it can have great reward.
I've been in a guild for the past 8 months and it's nice to know that I can start playing from the beginning and know everyone.

It may be hard for a hardcore guild to get good members as they don't know for sure how good of players they are or how much time they will invest in the game, but for a casual guild with no required attendance it doesn't matter if they are unskilled players--as long as they are good people. It's all about getting to know each other and setting foundations for trust and communication.
Plus if you are as lucky as I am to have a good amount of funny people in your guild, you want to check the forums everyday just for the lol value.

I am really looking forward to this game. Warhammer does not intrest me for various reasons, but AoC really sounds great. I will wait until shortly after launch to buy, see what the response is. The game would have to be pretty unplayable like V:SoH for me not to get into it at least to try it out.

Can someone post the sys req for Oblivion or a link to them?

And what is this about direct X 10?

The requirements aren't completely accurate though. I tried it on a FX 5200 and it didn't work. I was getting less than one frame per second.

AoC will be DX9 or DX10.
