I don't know whats wrong with all you negative posters on here, its quite a good game in my opinion, and i have played quite a few mmorpg in the past, SWG, Rysom, WOW, COH and Villians etc,
All the games coming out these days seem to be the type where you have orc's, trolls, and wizards etc, at least this one trys some thing new and a different approach with a futuristic element.
I know the game has a few bugs and problems as most new mmorpg's do, but i can see this game becoming even better in the next few months and i'd certainly tell my other mmorpg friends to try it out.
I have not experienced any lag at all and the customer support is the best i have seen on any mmorpg.

I guess some just like to troll, and to some, it's not that it's a bad game it's just from playing it, British could have had a GREAT game here instead of a good one and it pisses people off .
Everything is fine only problem is that there is nothing left to do in game after month or two.
Its a good game. It isn't a great game. It certainly isn't a game that breaks down new territory and forces every other MMO designer to sit up, pay attention, and take notes.
Frankly, I wanted something like UO, updated with everything we've learned about MMOs in the past decade, in space, with more cool features no one had ever thought of. So... this ain't it. Still fun (until you get to mires).

The game is a good game that introduces alot of really cool concepts. I was very much enthused about it when I did the beta and at release. However, like someone has already said, theres really not that much more to do once hitting higher levels. I am not one to roll laot of alts either so for me it just got boring grinding CPs. Hopefully the TR devs will add more features/content soon and Ill take another look at the game.

im with JMadison
sorry to say i happen to like the game alot ive been playing it since Beta but it is pretty shallow and the dam thing has more bugs then SWG im just hoping that in the future it will get more content and some kind of good crafting system and some solid end game content but its pretty easy to see why people would hate it there was so much potential in this game that went to waste
Bingo !!!
Tabula Rasa is a shallow shell of a single player-style game after waiting years and listening to all the hype about how it was going to "break the mold" and be the end all of science fiction MMORPGs.
It's a pathetic excuse for an MMORPG, they should have released it as a run n' gun console game with an Xbox live hookup...
The faster it dies the better, I hope it sends a message to these diva developers that think they can let their products ride on hype and past successes.
havnt you gotten bored of saying the same old thing over and over again Ichijo?
I really don't know what audience they're trying to hit with this click-happy clunky combat system and grindy progression. This game is no threat to World of Warcraft or any other since it's just more of the same and FPS fans will find it boring due to the lack of engaging PvP.
I guess it's a good attempt. C+ for effort.
I played TR during the pre launch beta. It’s a fresh breath from EQ2. Having played City of Heroes/Villains and having seen the content added over time. I am confident that the same will take place here in TR.
It’s too early to say that this game will (add negative statement).
But with everyone making the negitive statments. They're morons, of course. They look at a game for what it isn't, not what it is.
But it will get smaller and smaller as the game gets older ( but never end ). They will go to newer games and whine about them. Instead of using their brains and trying the game out before buying it. I tried the 3 day trial, and now have bought the game. And to top it all off , i bought 5 new copies (Ebay and Half.com) for family so we can play together. So I like the game, and for the haters, well here is your one fingered salute (imagine it).
The audience would be those who enjoy playing games, you know people who play games for fun and entertainment, not those who are looking for a new job type of game,TR is a game for gamers that want to be involved with the game, but the rushers....well we see all over at every forum and every MMO ever made they will not last and will like most bash games they do not like, so no worry's the more i read about the complaints the better my idea gets about seeing that those who bash will NOT be missed as most bash and complaint do not make sence.....please READ MOST which imo does not mean ALL or EVERYONE!!! but just most, this goes for many complaints regardless which game on forums like this.
Calm down, whats wrong with you? I see hormones raging in you. Man there is something "clunky" with your perception if you can say that just small parts of Mires are fraked.
You have to play less than 3 hours per week not to hit 40+ in 3 months. Casual players play 5-7hours per week like i do and i was 30 in 1 month. What should i do? Play slower or what? What do you propose to ppl like me to do with this game after month or 2. There is no content or reason to play. Once they put it in the game im back but until than all i can do is roll new toons. But wait even new toon is not exactly interesting since you always do the same, same starting position, same quests, same locations etc.
Its not like its your responsibility that this game is another game that will be flushed like it never been here. No reason to be upset like this. Servers are already empty. Population is "low" in any time of day and thats cos game is simply crap in the state it is now and thats reality. Only difference is that more and more ppl see what did they bought a month or two ago. At the moment almost everyone who started game on day 1 is 30+.
Sure there is other games that are crap like TR is but there is also better games with some bright future and if TR was in right hands, instead im here, i would be playing TR.
crap
Calm down, Well i'm calm.....now...hehe whats wrong with you? Nothing really I see hormones raging in you. oh? Man there is something "clunky" with your perception if you can say that just small parts of Mires are fraked. You may feel that way ...thats fine, but it's not my perseption it's what i experiance'd with parts of Mires being sort of clunky, have done many thing/missions on Mires without any lag or other issue's, i'm not talking about the bugs as they are there and yes also not talking about broken missions as they are there, does this suck, yes afcourse, but i've been with this genre and gaming all together for a long time so maybe that might be the case my "perseption differs from yours" + i'm the patient type of player, read the info given, and there for i will not pursuit things that do not work, my main is on hold now, and yes i toy around with a few clones, sure the quest line are the same but my playstyle of my other toons IS NOT, this is what makes it differnt for me, doesn't have to be that way for but it is FOR ME>
You have to play less than 3 hours per week not to hit 40+ in 3 months. I take my time, i'm not in a rush and been playing since launch and my main is 31....oh jolly lol such a low lvl for about 3 months yes thats right, but like i said in another topic i aint a sheep and i aint playing hte game to reach max lvl asap i play the game to have fun as long it last. And yes during that time i occasionaly take one of my clones or alts to play with.
Casual players play 5-7hours per week like i do and i was 30 in 1 month. What should i do? Dunno that's all up to you yourself to decide Play slower or what? You could but would that be fun for YOU? What do you propose to ppl like me to do with this game after month or 2. There is no content or reason to play. Well ever thought of letting hte game rest? Once they put it in the game im back but until than all i can do is roll new toons. But wait even new toon is not exactly interesting since you always do the same, same starting position, same quests, same locations etc.
Its not like its your responsibility that this game is another game that will be flushed like it never been here. No reason to be upset like this. I'm not upset Servers are already empty. Population is "low" in any time of day and thats cos game is simply crap in the state it is now and thats reality. Tbh i don't care about the pop being low in screen, aslong i see enough and meet enough people to have fun with then FOR ME it's fine, i don't have the time nor the will to commit myself into clans, thought getting into a clan is something that MIGHT work for you. Only difference is that more and more ppl see what did they bought a month or two ago. At the moment almost everyone who started game on day 1 is 30+. Thats true not argument here, and if indeed things wern't broken at the later level i might even be a higher lvl'd charater ingame, but like i said no worry's FOR ME, but if i would feel like you i would already have left TR and moved to a game that i do enjoy, or simply wait till you are sure more content/fixes are brought in so you know you will enjoy the rest of hte game at your pass.
Sure there is other games that are crap like TR is but there is also better games . Games yes MMO's no sorry, name one that is uptodate, i've played all sci-fi mmo's that atracted me, other games i have tried, some liked some not liked, TR atleast breaks the mold for us who can not spend as much time ( as i wished i could spend) but then again if i could spend more time playing games or MMO's i probebly will chose the more traditional typ'of MMORPG's instead of setteling with TR which imo is mer a MMO with some bright future and if TR was in right hands, instead im here, i would be playing TR.
crap
If you like a game then that's cool and you should play it and have fun!
Some people are just a bit annoyed that TR could have been so much yet it offers so little, especially considering the monthly fee is at the high end of mmo subs
I personally love the game. I think anyone who hasn't tried the game should go for it because it does offer something different.
For myself, after reaching 45, I am bored. I'm hoping some upcoming changes and patches may fix some issues.
Here's what I like:
-easy money - essentially no worries
-quest based leveling - doesn't feel like a grind to me.
-scifi mmo - great change of pace
-some very cool class skills - makes the game fun to play
What I don't like:
-no official forum for communication - it's like they don't want to hear a peep out of the masses.
-crafting system is useless
-upper levels seem to be lacking in content (40-50)
-not much else to do but complete quests, do instances, break out a clone to do the same with different class
All in all it's a nice distraction til the next great MMO comes out. It could be something great if RG and his team went balls to the wall. Time will tell.
Barfman - The superhero people are reluctant to call upon.
The game still has potential and time will tell how it gets implemented. Many MMOs get their main features in later patches or expansions after the initial release. I mean this happens so often that its almost cliche that an MMO gets released before its done.
