You know whats really funny about some of the post here is this.

Some say PS3 and blue ray is bad because its proprietary and that is why they went with Microsoft????? Sorry but the second I read that I had to laugh...

PS3 isn't competing with PC, it's competing with Xbox360. Get the picture now? Sony doesn't sell PCs, so they aren't competing against MS with Windows. Sony sells a game console, which competes against MS game console.

Oh, and Japan is a super small country you could fit inside California? Less time on the internet, more time in school, methinks.

Microsof does not care about SOE developed games.

SOE would have to PAY MS to release a game on xbox360.

Isn't making money the focus of a business? I am pretty sure they would gladly accept The Agency as one of their games because, as posted before, it would be like Sony admitting defeat. Thus Microsoft would be in control of console gaming.

Japan (in respect of landmass, including the islands) is slightly smaller than California, however that's irrelavent it's population is around 3 times greater but still only 2/5ths total US pop.

Besides which they should bring it out on the Wiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!

Funny, I thought Sony makes PCs that run Windows. Windows isn't their competitor, the Xbox 360 is. They both just happen to be made by Microsoft. The fact is that in the waning years of the PS2, the Playstation brand produced more than half of Sony's revenues. They have the similar plans for the PS3 and even bigger plans for Blue Ray. Putting a game that might actually sell PS3 on their biggest competitors machine (the 360 you dweeb, not Windows) is basically abandoning their entire business plan. Grow up.

First you say that Windows and XBox360 "just happen to both be made by Microsoft... Then you turn right around and emphasize the fact that Sony makes The Agency and the PS3.

So, when it's not the argument you want to win, you say it's just coincidence, but when it is the arguement you want to win, you say it is absolute.

Er... do you think, if things turned out differently for the ps3 to be the successful console platform (god forbid), microsoft should develop a ps3 game? I would think if sony did have its own operating system they'd want to develop exclusively on it, too. Mistake or not, I think if SoE developed the agency on the 360 it'd be admitting defeat, something they shouldn't be trying to portray.

Well let's not beat around the bush here. XBox360 already won the war against the PS3. PS3 came out too late, has too few titles, and cost too much.

The fact that the PS3 is out selling the XBox360 in Japan is absolutely a mute point to say the least. Of course the PS3 out sells XBox360 in Japan. It's a super small country that you can fit inside California for crying out loud. That's like saying that Ford is beating Chevy because it sold more in New Jersey. Yeah... and?

The XBox360 is the clear winner in the current generation of consoles in America by a large margin, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if you want to make money in the console industry you have to sell to the XBox360 market in America. Why do you think PS3 has so few exclusive titles these days? The publishers all saw the light and made their games for PS3 AND XBox360.

And, the blueray... haha.. Betamax all over again. When will you people ever learn.

At any rate, I will play The Agency on my PC, but I won't play it on a PS3. Not because I don't like the PS3, but because I don't OWN a PS3 and I won't be buying one anytime soon. I sure as hell will NOT buy a PS3 just because of The Agency.

I do on the other hand own a XBox360 just like millions of other Americans, and I would buy The Agency for XBox360 because I own the console.

Considering you didn't answer my question, I'll assume you didn't read or comprehend a thing I said and feel like sony bashing, so have at it and have a nice day.

And to clarify my position, I do not own a ps3 nor plan on owning one any time soon (even for this game, which I do have minimal interest in).

Actually, you might have missunderstood me becuase I am not bashing Sony in the least bit. I like Sony. I pay Sony $60 a month for 2 Sony Online Entertainment Station Access accounts. Sony is awesome.

I just want The Agency released on the XBox360 as well.

As for The Agency, I think it could be a lot of fun really from what I have seen so far. Again this is all speculation at this point, but that's my feelings on the matter.

By the way, I really didn't like Lord of the Rings Online. To me it felt less like a MMORPG and more like a multi-player capable RPG. It just didn't appeal to me.

And, for all of it's down falls and short comings, I still really enjoy Vanguard. I know that 99.9% of the people on MMORPG.com hate Vanguard, so I am not even going to waste my breath explaining why I like it. I just do.

oh well if it's not on XBOX, less strings to pull and other issues. I can deal with the PC and PS3 only.
