Hello all,
I have played alot of MMO's in my time and the newer ones im tired of all this solo content. What i'm looking for is a game where I log on and look for a group, get in the group and go camp something. It seems that my only option for a fairly new game would be FFXI. I have tried many MMO's and played a decent amount of all the big names currently out now.
Would going back to FFXI be my only option to satisfy what i'm looking for in an MMO? If anybody has any suggestions i'm all ears.
Thank you,

Well, you correctly assessed, FFXI would be your best bet if forced grouping is your pleasure. EQ 2 still has quite a bit of grouping opportunities as well, so it might make a good alternative.
Aside from that, I don't see much on the horizon atm, solo-friendly games seem to be the trend for most game designers today.
Who the hell are you, and why should I care?
Congrats! You are a victim of Trollstar!
Well, thank you very much Trollstar.
Actually I have decided (when i get home) to give DDO another shot. I have read that people over there are pretty friendly when it comes to grouping and others saying that out of all the MMO's out now, they've had the easiest time finding people. So i think i'm going to give that a shot.
The one thing i didn't like about EQ2 was yes, it is fairly group oriented, but if you focus on groups and just grinding you miss alot of the Achievement Experience that is so needed to be any bit successful at end-game, that's my only con on that game otherwise i think i might give that another shot as well later on.
Thanks very much on your opinion.
if your looking for solo content with good story then guild wars is for you.
its mostly solo outside of towns you dont have to take players with you just get npc henchmen and heroes.
Holy crap did you even read the OP? Wow talk about a major lack of reading comprehension skills.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
