Player Economy

What do you guys think? They haven't really divulged much in the way of crafting or player created items or the economy in this game. I'm hoping it'll come to fruition as the game nears finish though. What are your thoughts on what they should do with the player based economy? From none at all to player owned stores... semi-kidding on the stores thing

I am actually a fan of the player stores you find in f2p games. I know the lagg really blows sometimes. If they could somehow make a specific instance (i know we hate instances in general) but a specific instance where players could set up there own store I would be happy with it. That along with an AH is fun IMO. Sometimes I like just hitting an AH and getting what I need. Others I find it fun to brows someones personal shop. The one great thing a personal shop does is lets YOU the player add things to it to buy. This is all assuming there is some sort of crafting that is usefull though. The buy aspect in a personal shop is kinda hard since there is no initial item to show that its what you want to buy.

After much research it's evident that Gold based economies are easy pickings for Gold Selling websites. Although you can also sell things other than gold, such as crafting items ard rare things depending on the looting system/binding. If I was in charge of the WAR economy I would most certainly choose to veer away from using Gold as my main currency. That is a trend that I would expect to see from many of the major upcoming MMOs as well.

My guess is that the economy is going to be based on Gold though, simply because I don't believe that crafting is going to play a large part in WAR,  because its mainly PVP and I haven't seen much about armor tiers other than the class tiers.

    All total speculation.
