in Dark Age of Camelot

I just started to look into this game, and it sounds great !, I don't care that its old and don't care if it looks a little out dated, it sounds as it's deep and I like that.

I've read some stuff on the main site and a fan site. and what makes or breaks a game for me is population and playing a class that is needed. I'm gonna download the trial in a few hours so I would like to ask a few questions first :

1.  Most populated server but for someone new ?

2.  Does it matter if I pick Albion, Hibernia or Midgard for a relm as far as population, and if it does not matter which one is most fun ( population is more important, than fun)? 

3.  I can play a healer well, but I love rogues however there not always popular in groups, Will I have a hard time finding groups with a rogue, or is it better to just be a healer?

4.  Not that important yet but do you only get the basic game with the trial, I notice there are many expansion packs.

    Ello mate,

    In asnwer to your quesitons when u get the trial you get all the content up to and including the catacombs expansion. Id probably recommend starting on the classic cluster simply because in rvr buff bots are needed on the normal ones. On classic the rule set is slightly different and its very difficult to use a buff bot so the ground is a bit more level. Its also one of the busiest servers/clusters

    There are slight variations on what realm u go on in terms of populaiton however one thing to remember is the lesser populated get more bonus to xp and cash

    Rogues tend to either solo more or go in stealther groups. 

     

    If you have any more specific quesitons just post back and ill do my best to answer.

    I just got up ( night shift ) and will start downloading. In reading other post I see that several people are suggesting a clasic server, however not to much as to what one :(    One post had hiberna/Garath, is that a more populated relm/server ?

    Also not much about rogues/healers as being popular for groups. Maby it does not matter in this game. Some help on this please ?

    In reading more I see that being a rogue class may not be such a good idea, as no one will group with them but other rogues, and nothing at all about healer classes, maybe there not needed.

    Archer types Vamp and Necro seem to be good I think !

    Gareth is most popular, but stay away from it because everything is too expensive so Ector maybe a good choice I think, ever get the feeling your talking to yourself ? I'm kind of getting that feeling right now :)

    Unless gameplay has changed dramatically from when I played, healers are very needed in both PvE and PvP. As a healer you won't have much problem finding a group.

    Can healers solo well and what class would you recomend .
