Couple of questions before I buy

Hi all,

Thinking of purchasing the game but I have a few questions

1. are the Keys mapable? I am left handed and have a real hard time with how most games set up the keys. I always have to re map the keys using, Shift, cntrl and enter, are they mapable?

2. I have heard that avitar combat has a lot to be desired, do you think they will continue to improve upon it?

3. Do the Devs listen? I know it's really early in the games life but do the Devs appear to to be open to player imput?

Thanks in Advance

Yes the keys can be remapped for movement and such.

Avatar combat is a little lacking yes.  It's certainly not the best around and is probably the weakest overal facet of the game.  it's not INCREDIBLY bad...  It's just very lackluster

And yes, the devs do apparently listen and so I would expect avatar combat as well as other mainstream complaints to be addressed eventually with paches and upgrades.  When?  No idea..  but eventually

The current devs might listen but when SOE buys the game and unleashes an NGE on it you'll be screwed.

SOE won't buy the game. SOE publishes it, does the billing etc... FLS made the game and decides what happens with the game.

Personally, I like the avatar combat, yes it could use some polishing, but they're already on that.

Devs listen a lot, they read the forums and answer on it. They're more active in the community than your average mmo dev team.

And the last time we heard that was around this time last year regarding Sigil ... guess that turned out a bit differently than expected.

As far as I see it, it totally depends on how the game succeeds.  Thankfully it appears to be under less financial stress than Vanguard was, and the crew is certainly much better than Brad and company, so there's no need for alarm at this stage, imo.
