PVP And housing

in Everquest II

I was just wondering if there is gonna be PVP like anyone from freeport can kill anyone from qeynos?   and also i was wondering about the housing that they said there will houses for everyone is there going to be one huge zone with everyones houses or is it gonna be like FFXI where u just zone into your house.

    No, there will not be pvp servers at launch. Right now the devs say they might devote some time into developing pvp, but nothing is certain.

    As for housing. All players will have an appartment which will be instanced, so you can have lots of neighbors. Once you gain prestige and money you can buy houses and so on which arent instanced.

    when you say instanced do you mean like FFXI or what cause if it the way im thinking then how are you gonna have neighbors if you cant leave your house without going back into the main city area, and also do your earn things for your house or buy them?

    I duno about FFXI.

    In EQ2, an instanced home-apartment will be where you walk up to a building (hotel looking type i guess), click on the door, then only you may enter your actual apartment home but will have a feature where you can allow other players to go inside your home too. You will also see other people go through that door to the building, but as i said only the owners can get inside unless they invite you.

    As your character matures/levels up in the world, with money saved up, you can buy bigger homes/buildings where any amount of people can get inside providing you have granted them access i guess.

    There will be Guild houses also, apparantly they are meant to be huge, but very very expensive.
