I am getting sick of playing foreign mmo's such as ones from Korea. I do not dislike the people, its just that most foreign mmo's take longer amounts of time for me to get the new patch for my country, because they have a lot of language translation issues, and having to basically remake the entire version of the game to fit the American version.
Most of the mmo's I play I get bored and leave because of the fact im tired of leveling to a certain level, and get bored because I have to wait for the new patch to come out, which some won't come out until 4-8 months later. Maybe even a year.
I have tried WoW, but I stopped after like level 20. I have played Rappelz and got to level 90 and quit, because I got sick of server crashes all the time, and waiting for the new patches they promised last year. I have been playing Sword Of The New World, English version, and its getting quite bored now, as I am still waiting for 2.4 servers have been down for a little over 24hrs now, and I get alot of server crashes while playing that game to. So are there any US Made and being developed in US MMO'S? Besides WoW? Or are there any to be released. Thanks in advance.

Yikes, thats a scarey question. You need to get away from those free to play games son.
Take your eyeballs and move them slightly to the left. There is a list of many MMO's that are "made in America".
Maybe take a look at Guild Wars? You seem like you are not very interested in grinding or paying monthly fees. GW doesn't have either one of those. Hellgate is another option as is Anarchy Online or DDO.
However if all you do in MMO's is grind out levels and don't get involved with the community, your time in any of them is gonna be short as MMO's are really not all that good / fun to play alone.
EDIT
As far as great "western" MMO's goes...IMHO some include...(but not necessarily limited to....)
Some great non-western games (these games are very different from western games, you will need to socialize heavily or they will not work out for you)
Guild Wars may be the only choice among those titles if you are looking for a game without a monthly fee!
because so far the model has been unsuccessful in the us. Most free games arent really free... that have item shops with many items that while not game breaking do help in the playing of the game and offer significant advantages... like exp scrolls, extra storage, a auto looter, etc.
If your wanting free games your going to have to stick with Korean / asian games.
If your having issues with a credit card, simply go to a bank with 20 bucks and get a pre-paid credit card. Its a visa or mastercard gift certificate basicly.
Even unemployed... most people can find a way to dig up 15 bucks a month. If your a kid, try mowing a lawn. One lawn a month = your sub. Do chores, etc.
Theres always something you can do for someone for 15 bucks a month
As for why? Well, simple. Single player games have a dev cycle of x years, then a patch cycle of x months. But its hands off after release for the most part. There isnt 24.7 server support needed, gm support needed, website with massive information, forums with 24.7 mods etc.
If your running a online game of lets say 50,000 people. You have 100 gms. Lets say you pay them crap at 12 bucks an hour. They work 8 hour shifts. Thats 192,000 a month JUST for support. Thats also a low support level of 1 per 500 people. As long as your game is relatively bug free then 100 gm's can probably do the job... but your gonna get slammed on major issues.
Lets look at server costs. Just to get a basic server costs around 400 a month (http://www.gameservers.com/dedicated/) now, your going to need quite a few of these for your game. Lets go on the low side and say you need 10 per server and 5 back ups just in case. You run 5 servers. Your looking at about 30,000 a month again... thats low end... and is probably significantly more expensive, but I dont have any numbers for that.
Now... lets talk game devs. Lets say you have a team of 50 individuals (fairly small / average team) that work on your game for patches, new content, updates, etc. This would also include tech staff. Lets say you pay them only 50,000 a year each. (some make more than that, some make less, but 50k is a nice baseline. With that your looking at 208,000 a month.
So your looking at 500,000 a month roughly to run a extremely small mmo. All of this is guestimates, and probable about 25 - 50% lof the actual value for a low end game but it start to get you realizing where your money goes.
I didnt talk advertising, promotions, natural disasters, lawsuits, etc etc...
Anyways, thats why you have a monthly fee.
Well See Im 21 years old I have a job, but right now, im up to my ears in debt, trying to get a car payment payed off, an accident payed off before I had car insurance... computer bill, cable bill, phone bill, all that stuff. So basically you get the point. I have applied for alot of credit card applications but get denied because I have 0 credit, not bad credit but 0.... However I have a few times when I have had spare money for myself to use a pre-paid visa or mastercard, but none of those games will take it for some reason. Also, I have looked into Star Wars Galaxies, I would pay $15 a month for that, it seems fun. But if anyone knows of any great MMORPG's out there, p2p or f2p just let me know, and thanks;D.

Thanks Impyriel for the sig^^
If your car payment is to much, sell it, get a beater pos car. pay off your accident, computer, etc. Then once your in a better position save your money and pay cash for your car. Keep yourself from getting deeper.
I made the mistake of getting 2 cards when I was in my early 20's and had a few rather expensive girlfriends. Six months later with 10 grand in CC debt I realized I was doing something rather stupid.
Spent the next 2 years digging myself out of it.
Credit Cards are the devil!
you know, who the hell invented MajorMUD...because way back in the old school days of yore, that's what got me.
Free and good generally don't go together.
That said, you might have some fun playing Shadowbane or the free portion of Anarchy Online.

If you wanna get really technical, EVE shouldn't be on that list (CCP Games id based out of Iceland), Guild Wars (NCsoft is North Korean), CoX (See GW), Shadowbane (UBISoft, from France), and AO (Funcom is Norwegian).

I said "western" in my list. Western implies both U.S. and European.
NCSoft only publishes those games
Guild Wars - made by Arena net (US)
City of Heroes / Villians - made by Cryptic studios (US) (recently purchases fully by NCSoft a few months ago)
