Name some of the greatest P2P MMORPG's please

I was just wondering what are the greatest Pay to Play MMORPG's. I have seen a few like Star Wars Galaxies, Lord Of The Rings Online, and WOW, but I don't care for WoW to much, I haven't played the other, Im scared to buy thinking I may have wasted some money. So are there some more greater ones out there Im not aware of? I don't care what country it comes from, but just wondering.

    As far as current games i would have to say no. I think there are some great games out there that you can still play, like EQ1, DAOC, UO but they are all old and you probably wont have fun starting out now. The population is too low in those game at low and mid levels and grouping is pretty important in all of them.

    No new games have held my interest for very long.

    WoW i played for awhile but it wasnt my cup of tea.

    LOTR i played for a little bit, but it seemed like WoW with fewer options to me. That was right at launch though so it might have changed a bit.

    COH/V was ok but not my cup of tea.

    Vanguard wasnt bad but my computer could just barely play it. Plus some people dont want to pay for a game that is still not finished. Alot of people are saying Vanguard is real good now, i dont know if that is true, and i wont know until i get a new computer that can actually play it. But by then Conan should be out and i will probably play that instead.

    I think the genre is pretty lacking right now. Perhaps 2008 will open it up a bit with AOC, WAR, Spellborn and Aion. I am not holding my breath though.

    You have pretty much hit it on the dot man. Most I have heard about some of the games you listed are the same thing. What is going on here lately with the gaming industries? Are they saying oh crap our due date is in 2 weeks, lets just add this and that, well there's a few bugs, oh they will go unnoticed, and will fix them before any players find it out?
