A month ago when I played all servers were low most of the time. Lets face it, this game is a failure and there is no need to get into any arguments for that. Just look at the server population.
Once people like above finaly understand TR was never meant to be this mass appeal type of MMO then maybe some people will stop making topics like this.
NCSoft has stated before for such a game with mass appeal or in other words trying to appeal to the masses as like with WOW they have other projects they want to use for it, they always said TR will be a nichy game.

So you keep track of TR server status Yamota? How exactly are you doing that? What's your methodology?
Can you tell us what the 'Low' and 'medium' pop levels actually indicate in real numbers?
You are talking out your proverbial Yamota and wouldn't know a fact if it bit you on it.
So NC apparently made game without content after 2 months on purpose and its ok cos they said somewhere that they don't want this game to be successful and they only need few funboys to run around. Money is not an issue for them, 5 years into craper is perfectly fine...
Wake up guys its over, and to late, nails are into coffin already.
In my opinion, they released at a terrible time. The game was thrown out just before christmas so when the whole dev team was AWOL for a few weeks over the holidays, the playerbase started to feel ignored and frustrated at the lack of content/support.
Another problem was the very paltry amount of effort that had gone into the high level areas and missions; a lot of us hit level 35+ over the holiday period and were faced with such a lack of missions that it became normal practice to have to spend hour after hour grinding mobs for XP in order to hit the next level and get the new missions.
Add to this the non-existant crafting and the utter lack of level 50 content (there is literally nothing to do AT ALL right now) and a lot of people (myself included) are having the perfectly understandable reaction of "maybe I should come back in a few months when they finish the beta".
Basically, great game but needs a few months (and some heavy content/crafting revisions) before it'll be really up to scratch and worthy of playing.
They need one less US server for now, The EU server which I play on is fine. The Ideal would be mixed servers, rather than calling one EU and the others US etc, encourage people to mix.
This I think improves the game experience with a better mix of people, and as we all know, split servers like they are now go dead at certain times of day, however, In FFXI, there are a few peak times US peak, EU peak and JP peak mainly, it works really well. Granted we wont have many JP players in TR (I think) but I really am for the mixed server Idea,
I was taking a break from this game while they finish 1.4 because i had a hard time leveling past mires without doing it. But now the month i took in wow ends soon and the patch still isnt ready. I was pondering weather i should just renew right away or go for another game. I dunno what to do anymore. I don't want to play wow, guild wars and CoX wont hold my attention for long enough and now this game doesnt seem like something i want to play anymore.

I'm in a very similar boat (literally, I just downloaded Pirates of the Burning Sea to test it out).
1.4 looks like it'll be ready soon; which will be good for you as it'll address a lot of problems with the 30+ levelling grind, but it'll change very little for me (my character is 50 already). I'd advise you to stick with TR 'til you try 1.4.
Lol! So they spent millions developing this game with no intention of success? Just wanted to mollify those who think they are too "smart" for WoW? Remind me not to buy any stock.....
Consider the scale involved; if they sell 100,000 copies, at ~ £20/box with a subscription fee of ~£8.99/month, that's an immediate revenue of ~£2,000,000 ($4,000,000) and a further ~£899,000 (or $1,800,000) per month.
I dunno how much an MMO takes to develop (or how many copies TR has sold for that matter) but I very much doubt it'll take them long to recouperate their development costs.

sounds like your talking out yours enhaxed, fanboi much?. lets see, the same 10-20 folks in main chat all the time, the obligatory 4 to 5 spammers and the revolving door of 5-10 new player channel folks. 1 to 5 folks rarely in any given area at peak times. casseopea. and the game isnt dead? looks like it to me. i would really be surprised to see tr have over 2500 (being generous) active subs.
i would like to see where the other thousands are chatting
can you smell that?!!...............there is nothing quite like it.....................the smell of troll in the morning............i love that smell.

Seriously, your methodology was how many people you saw in chat? I've got news for you - the majority of players in MMO's seldom use general chat if at all.
But you don't really know but expect us to believe you do? I'll tell you what I know, every time I login recently I'm surprised by how many more players are around. TR dying - I don't think so.
It's pathetic the way posters like the above pretend to have the authority to speak about server pops when there is just no way they could know.
There seems to be a group of posters here at MMORPG.com that like to pretend they have some kind of inside knowledge of the industry and TR, I'm calling their bluff.
They have no special knowledge of TR and are in no danger of supporting any of their arguments with facts.
So what we have is opinion presented as fact, the whole premise of their arguments is speculation and i deny it's validity.
Try googling "scientific method" and come back when you have some real evidence.
By poster above you meant graill right? Cuz i never meant to start this. I thought that maybe there were a few ppl like me who were waiting for higher level content to be fixed/added and not playing atm.
-Would you like cheddar or swiss cheese? -Yes. -...
I remember getting into open beta and running into walls because i suck at driving games. Then i had this quest to kill some car mobs and i never could keep up with them and when i did i was too focused on driving to actually shoot at em. And when i did shoot i kept missing.

The addition of HP is not to make it longer to level, you also have more HP. The reason for that is so that the devs can use Virulent damage, as it stands there are few mobs that use it and almost none in Instance dungeons, therefore it will eventually make group instances more tricky, I hope.
There was an inverview with Richard Garriott that clearly said he was against grinding. I'm afraid I can't find it.

What i actually want to know is if pegasus still gets up to medium like before.
I don't care if the game is dying or if Britney Spears was running down the street naked or whatever...

arguing with a corporate fanboi is like teaching special education.
