And basically the Hype meter did play a big part in it, it decided which 10 would be in the poll, and yes, since it can be inaccurate, YOU guys get to pick the top 2 of those 10.
Richard J. Cox "There were much of the beautiful, much of the wanton, much of the bizarre, something of the terrible, and not a little of that which might have excited disgust."
Pirates does look good, but the whole "Be a courier, a merc, a pirate, a trader if you want!" sounds suspiciously just like Eve Online. And Eve Online got quite boring. The whole "This many days to learn this skill" was ridiculous. I voted for Pirates anyways though in hopes that the forum will change my mind.

I vote for Pirates of The Burning Sea and Tabula Rasa, i like Vanguard but the release date is for 2006-2007, why have a forum now? MMORPG.com needs forums for Tabula Rasa and Pirates of The Burning Sea

Games Tried: Everquest (not a power gamer) Earth and Beyond (kinda fun, kinda boring) Planetside (rather play Counter-Strike) Lineage 2 (see Everquest above, plus too many PKers and Bots) Guild Wars [E3 trial] (Not too bad from what I saw, nothing very new though) Eve Online (somewhat fun, somewhat repetetive)
Waiting For: something good Games Tried: SWTOR, Star Trek Online, EQ, EQ2, Earth and Beyond, Planetside, Lineage 2, Eve Online, WoW, City of Heroes, City of Villians, Auto Assault, Fallen Earth Star Wars: Galaxies - Ibra Olasi (Valcyn Server) [Dead, screw you SOE]
There are many other games in the game list which are in development which could have made the list, but the poll only allows 10 so I just picked the 10 with the highest Hype rating, which while not completely accurate does give a decent account of how popular the games are and gives an indication of how much the forums are going to be used. It's a waste of time and resources to put up forums for a game and them not be used.

Tabula Rasa is seriously one of the more underhyped games around. One of the reasons is that the developers have said they arn't releasing any information that won't 100% guaranteed be in the game... which is a good change of policy imo. The level of innovation they're attempting is huge. Vanguard is the true heir of original EQ, and deserves its own forums as well.
I put Vanguard because I think the guys over at Sigil deserve a little credit. My second choice would be Tabula Rasa because it seems to be completely original (and a little wierd) and I've become interested in it. Pirates also looks interesting but I didn't chose it because I really don't know much about it, although it might be a good choice for a forum.
Currently: Alpha: Guild Wars Playing: City of Heroes Interested: WOW & EQII (yeah, both... deal with it)
Auto Assault, also the Matrix Online should be on the poll
Played: Tibia, Planetside, Ragnarok Online, City of Heroes, (and tried many others) Currently Playing: Nothing Anticipating: The Matrix Online, WoW, EQII, Auto Assault

The Best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.
I think vanguard shows the most potential out of all of those.

Tabula Rasa! Game looks incredible and Richard Garriot is a gaming god. I have faith!

Maxxxi - Frostfell - Asherons Call 2
I had to say Tabula Rasa. The only game in the poll that interests me much.

When EnB closes, they will have a big boost, like EVE got for a while.

Without a question I have to say to go with Pirates of the Burning Sea. Excellent game that deserves it own board without a doubt!
