When darkfall comes out we should make a MMORPG.com guild

I was just thinking that we all sort of seem to have a relatively close mindset (which is why we fight so often).
We should make a MMORPG.com guild in darkfall! What more fitting place for a bunch of MMORPG vets.
The only question is what we should do, as a guild.
Here's my personal idea, since I've always wanted to be a guild like this...
Race: Orc, hog, or some other difficult-to-talk-to and weird, unnattractive animal
Home base: A bog, or swamp. Far away from other guilds
Diplomacy: Silent, sort of like Japan back in the day. We don't attack anyone who doesn't come into our territory and sort of keep to ourselves. Only small communication on most critical issues will be tolerated between us and other guilds. Perhaps we will be able to make friends with another guild here and there, and talk to them. I sort of want to act like a bunch of a-holes, since I know a guild of veteran MMO players will be able to survive the shit that we will cause with others. Plus, we won't be annoyed by tons of new MMORPG players if we choose not to socialize.
RP or nonRP?: Depends on the particular player
Economy: We can specialize in some kind of trade, although I'm not sure which. Preferably focusing our entire economy on it, so that we can ship it out, perhaps by means of a friendly outsider who boldy chooses to buy it from us in our territory.
PvP: We will have fun by harrassing/raiding any guilds near our swamp. Anyone entering the swamp will have to be very polite to survive, and we will chase (and if necessary, kill) any fuckers who don't leave when we show up and RAWR at them.
It would be cool, we could name ourselves "Hermits of the bog" or something.
Anyone else have any cool ideas for a guild?

While the idea sounds interesting, I'd have to pass. There are too many rabid Darkfall Online fanbois here that I'm looking forward to ganking over and over again. If we were in the same clan, I couldn't do that without ruining faction.
But, like the other guy said, let's get this game launched, then we'll talk.

I've always wanted to call myself a 'bog hog'. We could play a hog like species, living in a bog. When people come into the bog and ask us why we are chasing them, we say 'CUZ IM DA BAWG HAWWWWG'. or something like that.

Bad idea. Not one person here gets along well. Even if you had a website, ventrilo it still would not work. For a guild to survive on a game like shadowbane / Darkfall you need to have the upmost teamwork, friendship and organization. You will never get any of these people here on mmorpg.com to follow guild rules and so on. Best bet is to join a established guild that you need to apply to join. Random recruit guilds are a freaking joke. I smell /fail
I think the whole point is that we shouldent get along : ) Thats why it would be fun.
Why don't you just play a game thats already out instead of speculating on what Darkfall guild you might be in if the game launches? Maybe a better question to ask yourself is what game to play in the meantime, while you wait?
I recommend PW. Its got a seamless world and open PvP. Not to mention guild owned territories, and full scale guild wars. It is level based but you won't find any F2P game that does those things better.

Sorry, I intend to do more with my retirement funds in my golden years than play games and form guilds. So, when DF launches, I'll no longer be playing mmos. 30 years 'til retirement, by the way.

I don't think that would work, as many don't believe in god and even more believe in different gods, I myself don't believe in the thing some people call 'GOD', therefore I'll just sit in-side and play MMOS while you go and try to find 'GOD'

I think a much better idea is to make 2 different guilds, one for people who are critical of dark fall and the other for people who are supporters.
Then if Darkfall is released we can see how each type of people perform under various situations, then I can see if my impressions about the average Darkfall supporter on this website are confirmed by demonstration in game.
I have no clue how im going to preform in game. I think im going to get my butt handded to me for a bit. i'm not that grate at fps games so heh.
ya if it comes out someday I'd be happy to join up wit yall. Even Shannia hehe. Dont worry Shannia I'd help protect ya and in exchange you can make us gear and stuff :P
I like the idea on one condition: if no1 is threatening our bog or w/e we should have guild ffa pvp. Implement that and it will be the most fun guild i ll ever join
