I think most people are starting to believe this date 03/25/08 will be upheld, because of all the recent happenings(Collector's edition, etc.). Now people are starting to question the game instead of the date more.
Instead of wondering if they'll make release, most people, I think, are wondering how much of the game will be ready.
If it does get another delay, I wouldn't expect it to be very long. I could see them pushing it back another 3 months maximum.
I voted yes simply because I haven't seen anything to make me think otherwise.
In the end, it's way to hard to predict this type of thing. They could be on track today and come across a huge bug or issue tomorrow that could set the game back 3 months.
You just have to hope for the best and enjoy the game when it does come out.
If they would delay it any more, I think they'd have told us by now. The gold discs for print need to be ready quite a bit in advance (4-6 weeks, I believe), so they should know by now whether they will be ready in time. Of course, the discs only contain the client and it can be patched, but to save bandwidth you want to start with a big patch.
Still haven't tried the beta, but looking very much forward to playing the game. I've been through some rough launches and seen games come out strong, including AO from Funcom. I think I can take pretty much anything.
YES, this game will probably make the March 25 target date. AoC has already been delayed several times, and each delay was given to us many months in advance. We are too close now for them to delay this game again.
The bad thing with this, is that AoC will likely release EVEN IF IT'S NOT READY FOR LAUNCH. This is certainly not a good thing, and I hope it doesn't happen.
Another big reason to launch on time... You can bet your sweet ass that they wanna get this game launched and running pretty smoothly before Warhammer Online launches in June, about 2.5 months later.
Regardless, let's hope for the best with this game.
With the state of crafting, from everything I'm reading from Avery and the survey, there is no way in hell this game is ready to launch (or will be in 8 weeks). If it does launch, crafting will have been a cheap knock off that will make WoW's crafting system look advanced. It is as if crafting wasn't ever really wanted and I'm very disappointed. I expected a lot considering how indepth AO is.
Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is:
"Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product."

Really think that yes, but Im not too sure, hope so... lets wait for the open beta and then we can see what is the state of the game.

I set up this 4 days before they changed the date 0.o
I really thought they wouldn't change it anymore, but as far as I'm concerned they can have the time necessary.
As long as we don't get another year or so delay...

I think it will be upheld, but I don't think it should. I hope they start doing "polishing" that was talked so much about 6 months ago.
