No bar brawls?

What? I had thought that bar brawls were one of the signature features of the game, at least in creating an atmosphere. Now it turns out they don't even exist? Someone tell me this isn't true!

I don't think there's anything more than speculation out there in regards to this. I certainly hope bar brawls will be in at launch.
I hate to say this, but if you are so upset just about bra brawls, what about all other features being dropped? Is it still the same game we were expecting 1-2 years ago?
But something as fundamental as the bar brawl... for me it was about silly random messing around - which is so important for detracting from the sense of grind.
It's not so much the change of mechanics, it's the change to the 'spirit' of the game that would worry me.
I don't have the article in front of me, but I believe it was implied that bar brawls are not completely dropped. They might not make the release, but it is something that FunCom still intends to implement.

Apparently, drunken brawling is now on the "patch in after release"-list along with "usable chairs/benches". Yay. My two favorite features won't be in at launch.

They may be on that "to be implemented soon" -list together with WoW's heroic classes, Vanguard's Miracle Patch at launch, and Darkfall's beta. But until Funcom actually implements bar brawls to the game, that means there aren't any bar brawls in the game.
Name one MMO that launched with all the features that were "promised".

Im giving up following all of the stuff bein added and dropped i have watched this game for atleast a year and a half and stuff is never the same. so im just gana wate so see the end result and see what the news is at the end.
