First thing that struck me after reading this is how different they used to be. So much more "open" with everyone and everything.

yea and thats how all the beta crap started so they decided to keep there mouths shut until they can give us a 100% date
instead of an half ass guess but you seem to fail to understand this
hence the no more dates : /
"We are going to release a stripped down version of the game, and see what you, our potential future players, think about it. There will be some gameplay in the first release (run around and shoot fireballs at other people, and thats about it), it will probably be full of bugs, it will only work on a GeForce or ATI Radeon setup, on a pretty buffed up PC.
But it will be free - it will be out in a few weeks - and we will be adding new features on a weekly basis."
Is this letter for real? It sounds crazy to release a pre-Alpha version of Darkfall. It sounds like something they'd say, but I'm a cynic when it comes to anything on the internet.
dno
Were glad they chose to refine the game, thankfully no early beta dates!
Quality is FTW
Pre-cu Fanbois,
There will be no rollback.
Go outside - Get a life,
It's not coming back.
We arn't giving you your game-back.
So go outside, and realize that you've wasted 2 years.
Pre-cu Fanbois.
lol, people still think this game is going to be released?
And since they've had 7 years since they wrote that it must be super qualerrific!!
That's about what it looks like they have right now
I remembered when they showed that alpha build, just some houses in a forrest....and a dwarf character walking around. I have been trying to find it again.
Back then they were Razorwax, a handful of kids trying to get funding for their deamgame. Now they don't have to anymore.

And when we got more women on the team, it was like No, no, no. We need puppies and horses in there.

That’s a great example of how a small group of naïve and inexperienced developers started off many years ago full of energy and optimism with wonderful hopes and dreams.
Because of there naivety and inexperience they where happy to be open and honest before cold hard reality and many years transformed them.
After many years of failure and setbacks they have become tired and pessimistic but arrogantly refuse to admit the truth to themselves or there supporters, they still hope to fulfill there unrealistic promises and desperately try to keep the dream alive.
They can barely contain there resentment for there own games community when they lie to them yet again, but reveal there bitterness and desperation whenever they talk.
Eventually it will all come tumbling down on them like a house of cards
This is what happens when imagination is mixed with depression and a dash of troll.
Timetravel much ? Jeeeeze
