questions of a new player

in City of Heroes

hello every1,

I am playing this reaaly fun game for 3 days and I stille have some questions I couldn t figure out.

1st- At which level I will be able to use superspeed..

2st-I see people around level 6-8 who have hover skill BUT they have something like a jet pack on their back so they fly fast..I have hover either but I couldn t find like a jet pack or smt..

I t will be very good for me If u answer my questions...

    Hi wenom1829,

    To get superspeed you need to be level 14. Prior to that you need to have chosen at least one of the two unlocked powers at level 6 (Be it Flurry or Hasten). For your second question there are bank missions (you'll play them around level 9 and up) that unlock a temporary power. Such as the jetpack and even a "jump"pack. One final note is that  the first bank mission you'll encounter is in Kings Row. Have fun in COH!

    thanks alot but when I got KR bank the npc said u need 2593 exp to have this mission..

    but people with lover level than me have equipment to fly faster..By the way I am level 10..

    Wenom,

    I've played CoX for since release and can help with most of the questions you will have.  [except for new content]

     

    If you take your primary S.Speed power [hasten or flurry and should still be avail at LvL 6] you will be able to select S.Speed at LvL 14.

    The jet pack comes in a few forms and should be either a veteran reward or a special edition box set reward.  The Good vs Evil one is actually a Jump Pack and it just allows you to make multi fly-jumps.  It could have also been maybe a holiday reward granted via a mission or npc or present or even from a Bank Mission.

    If they participated in the Christmas party patch that is the only reason I can think of them getting it early. As far as the required experience points goes, go ahead and join a mission team. You'll get that exp in no time.

    btw - Keep an eye out for the Double XP weekends.  I think this next one might be either this weekend or next.  It will be lots of fun for you!
