Only that FC says there will be one. If it will be totally open or not remains to be seen.
Funcom has said that there won't be an OPEN BETA. Beta will continue as it has up until now. They MAY do a promotional Beta with Fileplanet or something like that, but thats as OPEN as they'll get.

You know that this is not true. They said that there will be an open beta but will control the people that can enter, no need to win a contest or be a veteran.
Actualy they are on the Technical beta test, every week there is a "season", so first, they must finish this one and then they will say when the open could be accesible.

We are planning to have an open beta for the game as we get closer to launch, however, it will be through specific partners and require an application/registration process, much like most of the other betas for most other games.
