I am going nuts waiting for AoC! No more WoW!

I am going nuts waiting for this game... How many lvl 70's can one person create in WoW before they go nuts? Anyone have any suggestions on which game can fill my time till the release of AoC?

Coh, would be a huge change on scenery faster action . but only if heroes or super powers are your thing

Nah I actually tried that and wasn't into that at all. Not into the super hero stuff I am more fantasy based.

i myself got very bored of WOW while waiting for new stuff to come out. I tired the CoH/CoV free trial,it's not bad. Not really my thing though. My buddy has Tabula Rasa and says it is awsome. I'm working on upgrading my comp to play TR. Complete change of pace from fantasy, that could be good. I'd say try some free trials and see what sparks your interest.

As a human we are fallible. The greatness of wow is awe inspiring. Therefore, because we are imperfect and wow is so very close to perfection, we may experience dissonance while attempting to reach that level of pure energy. My recomendation as a temporary relief is Vanguard. As we all know, we can not stare at the sun for too long, therefore we need our moons and night gowns and caps and what not, if you eat smores before you go to bed or drink hot chocalate that your mommy makes for you this is where you think of that.  Vanguard is so flawed, it is the moon of my iris.

Be careful though.  When playing Vanguard, you may actually end up helping Xanu.

differences (these are my opinions...not facts)

    More diverse characters/.professions

Tons and Tons of quests (some may claim too many)

    Great story lines

You have skill points and achievement points to make a fairly unique character

armor and weapons are not as flashy as WoW's

Beautiful graphics...i like them better than WoWs

Not as polished as wow's gameplay, graphics are very much a hog...but if you have a decent computer...some of the areas are spectacular

more in depth crafting (where you can affect the experimentation at each of the 4 levels of crafting)

    huge world to explore....

just some of the things i can think of during halftime....man Tom Petty got old :(

if i had to go back to a fantasy game this would be it...but i am more of a sci fi freak

EQ2 is a mmorpg, wow is not.

Does anyone know how to make a mmoRPG anymore?

Guild Wars. If you get bored of AoC sometime when playing it you could always go back to Guild Wars; no monthly fee is always nice.

I would not try to get my hopes up. Maybe AoC will be the new Vanguard? Do not try to look forward to a MMO too much or you will most likely get burned. Rather wait and be pleasantly surprised.
