Ok so i bought WoW.
i had an old account which i didnt use and decided to create a new account with my new wow game discs my prolem is i stupidly wasnt paying attention accidently applied burning crusade cd key to my old account.
i have a 60 day prepaid as well on the new account which i applied
I rang blizz up and they said they cant swap the keys to my new account. so it now means i have to buy another F***ing copy of WoW:Bc surely they could strip the key away from the account it's not that hard. i can prove who i am and the account details.

part from having to buy a whole new WoW:BC on the basis of a simple mistake. the customer service wasnt great all. they offered no help apart from buy the game again

I lost my Warcraft 3 CD key... they made me buy a new game..
I forgot my WoW login password.. they made me call up support instead just fucken mailing me a new password..
Why didn't you use your old account, which now has wow+bc, instead of buying another copy?

And they can't apply the 60 day prepaid to the old account either? Old/New account means absolutely nothing since you can start new characters on any server unless of course there's a reason you don't want to use the old account.

For every bad CS story there is a good one. Guy I work with decided to try out WoW again after about a year off. When he closed his account he not only gave away all his stuff and gold but also deleted his characters. He started a trial account and remembered how much he enjoyed the game so he bought it again and applied it to his new account. After three weeks he looked up a guy he used to play with who suggested he contact Blizz about getting his 60 druid back. not expecting much he did anyway. He gave them as much info as he could and they sent him an email saying that they would be able to do it for him! Not only did they get a character back for him from deletion a year ago, but they also applied to his new account. Sounds like pretty good CS to me.
It was a genuine mistake and i already had applied the 60 day prepaid to the new account before activating bc i use the other account for almost everything. but i wanted the new account just cause it was wow and i was starting new.
from an old trial account which i decided to turn into a sub account but didnt bother paying a subscription for it.
i make it sound more confusing than it realy is i requested to move my prepaid card to my old account so i can use my bc account they said they can't do it.. unable to modify account even tho there accounts and billing they can retried a deleted lvl 60 char but cant do jack squat about move subs ....

Well putting BC on a brand new account for the most part is a waste anyway. You're really only out the 2 new races and Jewelcrafting/Prospecting on the new account. Yeah, it sucks that you spent $20 to buy the expansion and can't use it on the new account, but you can use it on the old account and it seems you are keeping both accounts. The old account may actually get more use out of BC then the new account would have if I'm reading that right. I'm still a bit confused as to why you wanted a new account in the first place unless you want to be logged in twice to dual box or something or maybe there's 2 in the family that play?
