Buddy key available to a fellow SOE critic

in Pirates of the Burning Sea

One of my cousins bought the game and gave me the buddy key. Since I have no plans of actually playing a SOE game I thought I'd offer it here. If you loathe SOE and want to try out this game without putting out any money let me know. Please have a posting history that backs up your anti-SOEness. :)

    I would love to get that key from you !!

    I do admit SOE was bad in history, i especially refer to vanguard witch had huge potential.

    But i also would like POTBS because it seems fun.

     

    Anyway i would be happy with that key

    Cool a message I can vent ancient frustrations on!

    Hate SOE? hell yeah, EX-SWG player from pre CU. Gave Vanguard a chance beliving hype that it was hands-off game for SOE. WRONG! SOE grabbed it fast, game wasn't that great anyway.

    Should I ask for the key and be disappointed again? No, tried it free and like most stuff SOE seems to be involved in lately, the game is alot of hype with some good points and alot more bad ones.

    So thanks for the offer and the chance to yet again spam about how poorly SOE is run.

    SWG....Planetside.......Matrix Online....Everquest 2.......Vanguard..... Enough said.

    Lets see where do i start...

     

    Everquest 1 No quest direction (Quest giver: go speak to this guy....Me: where is this guy???) Also lets not forget the graphics could have used some polishing as well as a side step animation. Never did get to far...

     

    Everquest online adventures: Combat is somewhat fun but the fact that you only get a minimap and thats it for a map function. Never did get to far as there was absolutely no one in Qeynos...

     

    Everquest 2 : Repetitive quests and such. Graphics are...realistic....somewhat....not really... guilds interview you...which i kinda don't get but whatever

     

    Star wars Galaxies: Had the pleasure of starting AFTER the NGE...Horrible. I think they were trying to appeal to action fans.... Movement felt loose, jumping absolutely sucked and oh yea the combat was way below par at best.

     

    Matrix Online: Only played during the beta but... Lag and really **** combat. Never got to intrested

     

    Vanguard: Ugh, 17. something gigs of game.... At first i was like is this a joke? turned out it wasen't tried to emulate WoW to much i think. Also Bugs and lag galore! Combat was too slow for me also...

     

    Planetside: Ah yes the game with no direction at all. Battlefields are to huge since i could rarely find anyone. Decent game once you get into a fight though...but that dosent make up for the fact it takes 30 mins to get  across 1/4 of the map and then to find someone.

     

    Well those are my problems with those SoE games... Pirates actually looks intresting due to realtime ship to ship combat! But the sword-fighting ill have to see for myself.

    I actually feel physically ill when I sometimes think of the old SWG and how much fun it was pre-CU and pre-NGE.  I deeply miss those days of SWG and loathe SOE for destroying it.
