Wich server to start on?

I got the game today and I was wondering wich server should I join. I like it when there's a lot of people but not too much so can't quest. Thanks!

Also, since when do you no need a CC/GTC to activate your account? I bought a 60days prepaid card with it and I feel very stupid >-<. I mean, when I wanted to use the trial this usmmer, I needed a CC for it!

Brandywine and Landroval are the most populous severs, I believe. Landroval is the unofficial RP server.

Brandywine is likely the MOST populous server. But since you wanted a server that was populated, but not TOO populated, I think you'll find Elendilmir fits that bill.  And the bonus of Elendilmir is that it's the unofficial Oceanic/Aussie/New Zealand server, so you have a pretty consistant population over 24 hours.

I just started on Landroval, and I tell ya, if you're interested in Monster Play then Landroval is the place to be....

I haven't spent much time Freep side, but there were a good amount of people, yet it's never felt crowded

That is where I ended up and have not regretted it at all...I play on the west coast so I catch the east coasters going to bed and that leaves a nice chunk of my play time that I can farm materials unhindered...nodes for as far the the mini-map can see.

Also always seems to be enough people on to fellow with...I have noticed a slight decrease in groups at 42+ but on the flip side the fellowships I do get tend to stick together for quite a few quests.

Elendilmir was a good choice.  That's where most of the MEO/Sierra boards (Middle Earth Online) people are.  These were the community of forumites pre-release back when publishers were changing and before the final Midway.
