I like just about everything, as my above list indicates, even some death/black/heavy metal, but it's pretty far down on my list of preferred music, I have a bunch of Dimmu Borgir, CoF, Cannibal Corpse, Slipknot, Slayer, etc. I like it, but have to be in the mood to listen to it, so not what I could consider my favorite or the best, just my opinion tho.
Good point. There is some rock that i will listen to just regularily, but most of the heavy death metal i have to be in a certain mood. For example, if i'm RvRing in DAoC with 100 Albs storming into a castle, i will just crank up Fear Factory, and go nuts.
And of course i like relaxing music, Coldplay I always listen to if i'm in that kind of mood.
And no matter what mood i'm in, you won't catch me listening to rap .
I listen to just about everything, even rap, tho really no "gangsta-rap" or hardcore rap. Mostly just stuff like Beastie Boys, Eminem, ICP, Dre, 50 Cent, D12, DMX etc. But much like the metal it's also something I have to be in the mood for. About the only thing that doesn't get any real play time in my musical listenings is Country. :P But even in Country there are a couple things I like, mostly older stuff like Johnny Cash etc. And while it wasn't country, his cover of NIN's 'Hurt' was incredible! He also did U2's 'One' and Depeche Mode's 'Personal Jesus', both of which also kicked much ass.

The stuff I listen to from them I wouldn't consider to be gangsta or hardcore in any way really. Now I admit they do have some, I just don't care for it, even if I do like their other stuff.

I dont know why you people like Linkin Park and Incubus. Linkin Park is a bunch of screaming with terrible lyrics. All the songs are similar lyric wise. I hate my parents I dont want to be like everyone else, I hate conformity BLAH BLAH BLAH. Incubus involves much better sound than LP but the lyrics are still simple and as much as they try to make their songs metaphorical, it doesnt work out. There is really much more out their, people.

with Linkin Park i will agree with you on... i used to listen to them back in my "angry teenage" years (back when they FIRST came out), but you couldnt have listened to too much Incubus to think their lyrics are "still simple"... its pretty hard to find 2 different Incubus songs with the same messege... sometimes their songs are just straight out wierd in the lyric department (Certain Shade of Green, Calgone)... i've listened to ALOT of rock music, but one of the main reasons i stick with Incubus is the lyrics...
do yourself a favor... go and pick up either the "S.C.I.E.N.C.E" or "Make Yourself" CD (only like $14.99 at your local CD shop) or DL them off WinMX or something... it'll change the way you look at them ^^

This is in NO particuler order as I don't think I can really pick any 10 to be my favorite in order.
Hmmm. Just off the top of my head:
Bach- Tocatta & Fugue in Dm
Orf- O Fortuna, from Carmina Burana
Holst- Mars, the Bringer of War, from The Planets
Shostakovich- one of the Piano Concertos, I don't think I know which one... If I heard it, I'd recognize it.
Bach- The Double Violin Concerto (Has a slow movement that is one of the few that I simply cannot interrupt)
Lalo- Symphognie Espagnol (It takes a Frenchmen to write spanish music?)
i like many ssongs and have no favorite, so how bout my favorite bands eh?
