The two games you've listed aren't very good PvP games.  The gaming style of both of them don't come anywhere close to what a good PvP game should be made of.  So what are you looking for? A PvP game that lets your skill as a player affect the outcome of the battle?  or a PvP game where your armor, weapons, and player level affect affect the outcome of the battle?

If it's the former, you won't find one, except for maybe planetside.  As for the latter, i'm sure you could take any of the current MMORPGs that are out now, but none of them would be good PvP games in my eyes.  Player vs Player is supposed to test the skill of the player, not your character.  If you want a very good mix of the two, i'd have to recommend Asheron's Call.  The PvP has mostly degenerated into killing for the sole purpose of killing rather than protecting towns or dungeons, or raiding towns or dungeons, although dungeon raids/defense do happen occasionally in the game.

If you do decide on Asheron's Call, the Darktide server has full PvP where you drop a certain amount (calculated based on your level) of items when you die.  The items dropped are the ones with the highest value, so you can carry around crappy useless high value items to protect your important stuff.  I highly recommend the Darktide server as the risk of being able to be attacked and killed at any time makes the game far more exciting than most games you've ever played, and in a fight your heart really gets pumping as your stuff is at risk.  In fact, this is the only MMORPG i've played thats given me an adrenaline rush in a PvP fight.

Of course, if you do decide on Asheron's Call, but you don't want to play on Darktide, then go on any of the other servers (frostfell recommended, its the most popular) and you won't drop anything when you die in PvP and you can level safely.

Hopefully this information is helpful to you.

Maybe Fury online is for you?

Its almost full pvp though, from what I've heard.

I'm still waiting to get in myself, adding more keys.

i actually listed three games..but yea i dont mind true pvp games n being able to fight anyone at anytime its the dropping stuff when u die part that gets me...that happened to me all the time in tibia. but yea im looking for something where its my player skill plus a lil bit of my characters lvl n equipement, n maybe the game has servers where if i want i can go into a straight pvp but also some that allows me to do pvp but only in set areas or something so i can freely lvl n do quests...kinda like ff11 had ballista's but i can do them whenever anybody else wats to or something...

I can't really talk about PvP, cause I don't like it.  But peoples who play DAoC, EvE, JumpGate, ShadowBane, Lineage 1 or 2...they would all claims that their game has the best PvP or RvR.

If you didn't try it yet, I would recommend City of Heroes/Villains, but the PvP is very weird, not sure you will like it...anyway, the game itself is 1 never ending series of fights and battles...it is 1 of my best games, and if not for all the nerfs, I would still play it...but constant nerfing would invariably get you rid of any achiever-player. :)
